Lina's fingers were tapping on the book she was supposed to be looking through. Being out in the courtyard was distracting, and the red head couldn't find the will to really concentrate on what she was doing. So many inches on the history of something or other, right? She was humming some sort of tune she had heard somewhere. Fingers tapping, sitting in the courtyard on the grass and looking around at everyone else wandering around. It was funny really, how many times she was mistaken for some long lost cousin of the Weasley's with her red hair. But she wasn't related in the least bit, she just happened to be another red head at Hogwarts.
The teen yawned suddenly, stretching with her arms upward and promptly dumping her book from her lap to the ground beside her. The pale girl flopped backward on the ground with a slight smile on her lips. She was wearing typical clothing for her on such a nice spring day. Dark colored, tight jeans, flat black converse, and a white tank top. Her long hair was braided and the braid was somewhere in the grass around her head. Homework? What homework? Lina thought a nice little nap would be the perfect sort of thing on an afternoon like today. In fact, she pitied the fools who had class right now.
The sun was high, everything was warm, and she just loved it. A sweet spring breeze, the high warm sun, and everything was just right for a nap of some sort. Maybe it was more peaceful than anything Lina typically did, but it was alright with her for now. Of course she was still humming that song that was stuck in her head and her toes were tapping along. Maybe she was humming a little loud, and she didn't even care. When did Lina ever care about what others thought about her? Just about never. Nope, she was going to lay here, ignore her homework, hum loudly to herself until she dozed off. Unless something more interesting came her way.

James was actually just deciding to take a break from school in general and wanted to enjoy the days while they were still there and he still had his friends in Hogwarts to talk with. Deciding to tug on a plain black shirt today and some rugged jeans that were tinted blue in general. The playboy of the school had not only gotten most of the girls to go after him, but he was certainly an idol among all of the other popular people here too. There wasn't a single person that didn't know his name throughout the school, and wanted nothing more than to just ravage each girl's soul. James had to be more productive though since he never really stuck with the same girl if they looked like one night stand material.
Even so, he didn't want to be considered a whore just cause he didn't sleep around with every girl he saw, but they had to be beautiful. That went without saying though since every girl here seemed to have the best genetics in the school ever and no one was imperfect at all. Hell, if he had been to this school before without anyone knowing he would have knocked them all up right away. Tugging on a loose set of black socks so he could cover his feet with his shoes and socks. Finally donning the Gryffindor vest he had and putting it over his head as it slid down over him. A great way to be a proud Gryffindor, but he ahd a feeling somethign today was going to set him off track from his usual mischief.
Surely nothing could take him off his game in general but he planned on finding out what really could make the infamous potter actually doubt what he was doing. Any girls would set him off track, but right now he was just going to take a quick stroll through the courtyard to see how much homework he could procrastinate from doing. James could usually pull himself back up from the depths of whatever seductive lure anyone tried pulling him into. Even as he was slowly walking down the steps of the courtyard that was when his eyes caught a very delicate beauty. James's eyes widened a little and his heart probably had jumped a bit too. Another reaction had developed, but that was key to not be revealed as his imagination seemed to run wild quite a bit.
Deciding to be safe and stay a safe distance in case she decided to pull her eyes towards his own cause he was definitely staring off at her. Just thinking of running his hands over her lovely frame, and twisting her delicate long hair between his fingers while you know.

She continued to hum, head moving just a touch in song with the beat that was making its way through her mental system. Not a bit of the normal muggle music that she managed to somehow smuggle past her mother on some days. No, she typically listened to hard rock with the lyrics screaming about sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. But this was something she had gotten on the off chance of being in a different mood. None of her players would work on the campus of course, that was just asking too much of life. Still Lina was tapping her toes to the beat, humming with all her might, and just generally enjoying life. It was all she ever did. Still, like all good things, the music ended and the red head opened her blue green eyes with a sigh.
If she could, she'd just set herself on a broom with music blasting in her ears and fly off to paradise somewhere. Hogwarts was a close paradise of course, her mother wasn't here, but it was still lacking many things that Lina craved. It was the best she had though, so the young woman wasn't going to knock it even mentally. She sat up slowly, raising her hands above her head and arching her back to stretch. Those light colored eyes quickly went to the book that had been so ungracefully tossed to the side and her lips twisted into a bit of a smirk. Right. Homework. That wasn't happening.
One hand darted out and closed the book with ease before she looked around for something to distract her. Something that could possibly be more interesting. Her gaze slid across several people, taking in a boy who was staring at her and passing him over before doubling back on said boy. Was that who she thought he was? James Potter. You had to be kidding right? A short laugh escaped the red head and she stared right back at him, smug smirk on her lips. He had a bit of a reputation, and Lina was very aware of that reputation. One red brow arched very carefully as she returned the gaze before she winked at him. No words spoken, just a wink that couldn't be missed.
He was attractive of course. Also, taller than her which was something that she liked in a guy. Dark hair, wonderful eyes, and a Quidditch player. Seeker, like his father before him. Lina stared right back at him for a few moments longer, then scooped up her things, threw them into her bag, and slung the bag over her shoulder. She stood to her full height of five foot eight, and started to walk away with one hand making sure that there was no grass in her hair. Hoping for the moment that she was playing her cards right for a bit of fun.

Well, James knew when a pretty girl was interested in him and wasn't about to let her get away anytime soon. A valid point had been missed by him as he tried to figure out what her edge was at this point. James could normally tell what a person's goals were by the time they had looked into his eyes and this delicious beauty had caught his attention. Finding out her name was the first step, and as she was walking away caused him to slowly tail behind her on the grounds that he was going to even be getting a partial read on her. Examining his palms for a minute as he clenched them softly and thought that no girl should make him this nervous.
In fact, he could feel sweat trickling down his forehead and the palms of his hands were a little clammy. So, now he was turning into some skirt chaser just like his grandfather, which was in no respect the way to treat a lady in general. Although, part of him was telling him to just go through with this and deal with the consequences later. James decided to agree with that state of mind and quickly started to trot after her like a puppy following it's master. Lina had definitely played her cards right to get James to actually try following her to see if he could get the jump on her around the next corner. James really didn't want to keep walking anymore as he called after her as he caught up to her.
It wasn't too far off from where she had been standing, but he knew that with the way her hips swayed she was definitely enticing him to see so much more of her sensual body. Gentle curves that fluctuated on her frame made him drool a little bit, but he quickly wiped it away from his clean-shaven face and his full lips seemed to part lightly. The brown-haired boy finally reached up to take her left hand in his own after having ran straight towards her, "Why hello there, beautiful, you can call me James, and what shall I call the divine flower that's in my presence?" he asked her calmly. Still holding the back of her hand as he pressed another few kisses to it softly to attempt to woo her at least.
James wasn't desperate enough to actually try anything riskier like kissing her lips on the spot, but she seemed like the type of girl who took what she wanted. James could read her now, but he still sensed a huge aura of mystery to her.

One foot in front of the other, managing to keep herself from glancing over her shoulder. Because that would just ruin it all, if she turned her head to see if James was following or not. If he was then all was well, and if he wasn't, then that was his loss. Simple and clean as that in the red head's mind. She moved her feet, turned a corner, and then someone was calling out to her. The smug smirk twisted a little further, and she turned towards the voice to see James trotting up to her. Following her like a good little boy, hmm? A chuckle escaped her lips even as his hand caught hers.
"Divine flower? Really?" Lina really couldn't help herself. Laughter escaped her as he pressed kisses to the skin on the back of her hand. He was trying to be sauve. The ladykiller that he was or something like that. Problem was, Lina just wasn't that type of gal. She was more of a rough and tumble sort. She smiled all the same though, light blue green eyes dancing a touch as she looked at him calmly. What was he, three inches taller than her? A good height, but she could still look him in the eyes without moving her chin to far up. "Well, James, where is the fun in telling you my name right away? Seems to me a guy like you could pluck any flower you wanted. So what's in a name? A rose would smell as sweet by any other name."
Vaugely quoting muggle stuff, Lina mentally kicked herself. She wasn't supposed to know this stuff, but she could place it on being stuck in muggle studies. Which was a class she was taking because she did find Muggles interesting. Muttered under her breath that she was stuck there or something every time someone asked her about it. Of course she just kept up the smile, her right hand darting forth to smooth down part of his vest as she took a small step closer to him. "I will say James, you'll have to do better than that." She moved her head slightly, brushing her lips lightly against his cheek for a moment before stepping back and taking her hand out of his grasp. This was going to be fun. Much better than homework by leagues.

Now that he had caught her vibe finally and heard what she wanted from him it was only a matter of time. "Why that's so boring when I could probably just ask a passing classmate what your name is? I'm sure you've gotten around quite a bit yourself, my dear," he retorted to her as soon as she had mentioned what she was planning on doing with him. James seemed to sense a familiarity with the girl for a minute and didn't think to ask himself what it was about his own face that made people adore him. This wasn't his first rodeo at all, and the way she was acting made things easier.
"Okay let me rephrase this, tell me your name then," he said to her and pushed her up against the wall while clutching onto both her hands to pin them there. James was ready for any kicks to the knee as he was going to just sidestep them or at least try to. No man could resist a female such as her, but he had been gentle about moving her so she wouldn't be hurt after that initial encounter. Plucking flowers was indeed a thing James was good at, but he was glad to have procrastinated to find her. James felt like he should recognize her since he saw her in the halls a lot, but it was a pretty big school for anyone to keep themselves within his mind. "You may have to impress me for me to remember your name though," he challenged her.
James was good at turning the tables on anyone, but right now he had a slight dilemma approaching the pants department. They seemed to be getting tighter, but he knew exactly what was causing it as he caught a glimpse down her shirt a little bit right there as he was pressed against her now. Letting his lips trail right near hers and then he boldly kissed her cheek in return to let his lips run all along her chin so that he could move to whisper in her ear in return. "Now tell me, what are you going to do for me, if I want this to go further and I don't have a name? I might just leave," he asked her calmly. Surely she could defend herself, but James could sense a deeper want within her.

"Maybe I have gotten around. And if I have, I'm sure it's nothing compared to the notches on your bedpost, handsome." Laughter escaped her again, though she was suddenly being pressed into a wall with her hands pinned. She didn't twitch her knees towards any vital parts, though the thought did indeed cross her mind. The red head knew where this was headed, and she had to admit that she was more than willing. Didn't matter that he was a Gryffindor and she was a Slytherin, but he had no idea who she was, did he? That was a small blow to her ego, she thought her own reputation was a little bit bigger than that. Then again, did it really matter? Nope.
He pressed against her and damn well told her to say her name. She laughed again, low in her throat while keeping that light colored gaze straight on James. Her heart was beating faster though, it hadn't taken him very long to switch his game up and try new tactics, had it? Lips on her skin, trailing down her chin, boy was good at this game. And he almost had her number. Almost. She didn't move, letting him do as he pleased for the moment. The red head was enjoying this and it was easy to read on her face. "I'm not the sort who cares if you remember it afterwards. You do or you don't. Maybe you'll move onto your next little conquest without skipping a beat, or you'll lie awake late at night and whisper it into your pillows. I really don't care. But as you'll need something to say when the time comes, it's Lina."
Lina Kalkuskov, though she left her last name out of it just as he had. And he wasn't going anywhere, not if she had the right idea of what was going on. The boy had some nerve, but hadn't she read that vibe in the courtyard? Staring at her like that. Good thing Lina was the sort to enjoy that, instead of finding it creepy. Some gals were just so weird about that sort of thing. Her fingers tightened around his, and she pressed the side of her face against his. Yes she wanted more, yes there was a sudden bit of need for more. But she wasn't the only one. She was damn well grinning like a cat who had caught the canary. "Where to now?" Because they weren't staying here if she was reading this right, and she was hoping she was reading this right because otherwise she was going to be an angry gal.

James was certainly enjoying this girl's company and was tempted to just say yes to everything she did. That wasn't his endgame though and wasn't about to fall for simple tactics such as that just yet, but he knew that she'd ditch him if he didn't do something interesting enough to hold her attention. There was one thing he definitely knew that lured all women of her calibur, and being of quidditch history, well his family certainly did have a reputation that was supposed to be upheld. James normally didn't follow such rules, however, today he figured it was time to test Lina's nerve to see how she might proceed.
"Time is short, but if you really must see me later then I suggest you follow," he said to her and suddenly he was booking it away from her for a minute. The whole point of this -was- for her to follow as he was sure she'd pick up on that right away. One hand clutching a strange round ball in his left pocket, but before he left his hand had run up in between her legs to give her a slight teaser for what was to come later. Even the definitive outline of a strange protuberance on his pants would indicate he liked her in return. Even her whole body screamed of sex, and this caused him to pause a bit. Nah, she'd be fine, and he was certain she was not even letting him out of her sight.
Those eyes on the back of the head told him so, but in his mind he was only hoping she'd play this game for a little bit until it stopped getting cute. When he ran down the left corridor from where they were he chose a space where the shadows were illuminated just right to hide him in perfect darkness. Now if he had disappeared on her, what then? There was no fun in just giving himself over, and he was known to pull pranks all the time too. This wasn't an ordinary prank though, because if she wasn't watching James would sneak up to her to grab her chest on purpose. Mainly rubbing a little to let her feel what he was going to promise as he kissed her neck once more...once again, if she let him.

Test Lina's nerve? Lina's nerves were steal. At more than one point, the red head had questioned the house she was in. She could be down right fearless at certain points in her life, but she had ambitions of her own of course. She always wound up reassuring herself that she was indeed in the right house. Still, the red head was grinning at James even as his hand ran between her legs. One eyebrow arched, and he moved away from her suddenly.
He moved, and she followed. Was she going to let him out of her sight? No, not in the least bit. There was too much fun to be had today, and she was all game for it. The red head followed, trying to keep her eyes locked on him if not her pace matching his. This was supposed to be some sort of game she knew, and where was the fun if she caught him completely? He wouldn't leave her there, wouldn't just leave himself hanging after all. A small chuckle escaped her as she rounded a corner. He seemingly had disappeared, and the red head carefully looked around for him. Just where had James Potter run off to?
Of course, Lina didn't have to wait long. Her back had been turned to him apparently, and her gaze down the hall somewhere when hands suddenly clasped around her chest. The red head's body tensed almost violently, and she almost reacted violently. She didn't like to be snuck up on in the least bit, and so her mind was halfway ready to throw an elbow backward's into whoever it was when she remembered that her and James were playing a bit of the cat and mouse game. Her body relaxed at the touch of lips to her neck and she pressed herself backwards into him with a chuckle. One hand darted up to press to the side of his face gently, the other to one of his hands on her body. To clasp at the back of his hand and press it to herself tighter. "I think we should find some place less in the open, don't you?" Not her first choice at all. But her face was slightly flushed at everything he was doing, and there was a devilish grin on her full lips. This was going to get fun, fast. And she was all for it.
