Remy had chosen a strange attire for the evening, dressed in all green like a Peter Pan look alike, just not with tights on, more like a strange forest garb with leaves all over it. Bringing a lute with him that had been a family heirloom from his father before him, and he only played at night. Of course that's when most of the fun was being had, and he would rather not miss one minute of it . Deciding to just take his spot upon the main tavern's entertainment area deciding if he wanted to feed tonight. It was fitting for his tale, after all, he wasn't sure what other house elves would have been wanting to sit out here to hear the tale. Surely he could tell a tale of the second wizarding war. No he went far back than that, and had made up tales of his own.
Even using his own life as a tale itself, but he doubted anyone would catch on unless his wife or his children were there. Rare as that may be, but still he couldn't help at least get set up properly. There were many routine checks he had to go through to perform throughout the night, but he also had a list of people to sign up for his tales. Remy was certain there was going to be some talk of the town going around for a while for the first vampire bard to grace their towns. Even having a small straw hat out in front of him in case someone wanted to make donations. One could never have enough money could they? This was all for his family in the long run, but he always did love history and telling tales seemed to be the one thing he was great at.
Clearing his throat as he soon brought out his wand, and put it on a stand, using it as the surround sound for the stereo. One or more people already clapped for him, but he hadn't even started and was almost tempted to use his special gaze on them. No, he had sworn to never do that again, but he could captivate almost anyone with his charms if he so wished. No one here would suffice for a decent meal, but he'd have to settle for his wife's blood for now. It did taste rather rich and sweet, but he liked to shake things up a bit at times. Finally getting the butterflies out of his stomach as he stood up and then started to strike a chord as he tipped the strange green hat. "Welcome one and all, this isn't my first show here. I know many of you haven't come here to see my show, but mainly just to have a good time," a resounding cheer shook the place when he said those words.
Of course, a lively crowd was to be expected since he was apparently slightly famous here, but he needed more celebrity issues about him. That was his goal this month, and wanted the fame that other bards had. Even though he didn't like giving out his real name, which is why you never ask for the name of the one that tells the tale. Playing a light tune on his lute, he soon starts to softly let his voice hum throughout the crowd. Talking about dragons and knights, of battles long ago when wizards were unheard of.
Back to a time when magic was actually just beginning, but he soon went back to the crowd after the song was over getting them warmed up for his tale at least. "Please, take a seat and let me tell you a tale, a time that has long since past your age. I have seen it to tell you the truth, and you may have forgotten it, the tale of an old vampire that you may well know him due to his book "A vampire's monlogue," otherwise known as Amarillo Lestoat. Honestly no relation in person, but I probably am more handsome than him anyways," he said to the crowd, hearing a few chuckles from his joke. "Anyways, just like to have your attention and to remain quiet while I tell a tale about peace and prosperity that will hopefully remain to this day," he said to the crowd hearing an approving murmur. Soon he went on to explain about the history of vampires and the first one known as Dracula...soon leading into a song.
