Jacob could have easily pulled the wool over her eyes and told her that he was just using her for his own gain. Hell, he could have even manipulated her easily, but that wasn't how he acted around her since she was a blood purist just as he was. Although, he could do without her getting cozy with the werewolves and now this vampire kick she may have been on. Jacob was seriously getting sick of people like that, and then started to keep his taunts to himself for now. Blythe was right on one note, but he did have his own ways of keeping things interesting next time. It was always a promise he would save for whenever they would meet up again, and he would incur her wrath if he told her that he wouldn't see her anymore. It wasn't that hard to find someone else to replace him, but he knew fully well that enough of his own courage was based on the fact he could actually deal with anyone.
Sure, he may have been beaten by a Hufflepuff, but anyone in his own house messing with him would be put down like a rabid dog. Jacob's first array of business was to get Albus and his trio off his back. Well, mainly Theresa Kelsey, that prude little bitch had another thing coming to her for taunting him like that even if she hadn't done anything to him. Jacob would be glad to deal with her directly soon, but he had other problems to worry about. The first one was the occlumency lessons with Maharet, and the second was just how he was going to handle the next task he would be given. Yes, that detention had surely soured his attitude, but whatever transpired in the chamber of secrets was a secret only he would know. The Occlumency lessons helped with keeping other people out at least in case they tried peering inside his mind. "So now the question remains, make use of the room for the night or head back? I'll probably be searching out Olivia and Chun to see what they're up to, what bout you?" he asked her calmly as if this was where their conversations normally lead to when they had their fill of a great evening with one another. Keeping in the presence of one another was a sure way to actually help boost his ego a little too, knowing he could still satisfy's someone's hunger like Blythe's.

After a moment, Blythe managed to get the zipper on the back of her dress up quite easily. She’d learnt quickly not to rely on other people to do things for her, even small things, so she preferred putting on, and taking off, her clothing on her own. It kept things simple, and it usually made sure she knew where they were at the end of it all, which was quite useful if one happened to make frequent quick escapes just as Blythe did. She didn’t like to linger; it would only make people think of unnecessary things, and she knew from experience that if you stuck around too long, people took it the wrong way. Blythe wanted none of that in her life. She appreciated the direct and blunt more than the people who beat around the bush and couldn’t face reality for what it was; she wasn’t going to get ‘attached’ as everyone liked to call it. It just wasn’t her thing. She’d never personally seen a relationship work out for the better, so she didn’t even bother getting involved in them. Of course, she still dreamt of that prince on a white horse like every other little girl; hers was just a little different. She doubted that any other little girls dreamt of knifeplay or leather; but she did. A little skewed and weird, but that was what Blythe ultimately wanted. Someone who could keep up with her, and when she knew they couldn’t, she’d rather just save the trouble.
“Hmm?” she grumbled lowly as she slipped her first shoe on, switching feet and putting the other on before getting up to stand. “As lovely as that sounds,” she began once she had realized what he was talking about. Absently, she got to her knees and began crawling around to find the contents of her purse which has spilled out and been strewn along the floor when she’d dropped it, snatching them up one by one. “I’ve got to go meet Blair and her friends,” she paused in her searching to sweep her hair back with a large swoop of her hair, giving Jacob a smile from the floor. “Your offer sounds better, of course,” she winked and went back to searching, putting things into her magically distended bag. “But it’s Blair, and she’ll whine if I don’t meet up with them soon. We were supposed to go to dinner,” she glanced out the dirty window to see the dark night sky. “Looks like that won’t be happening.” She raised herself from her knees, brushing them off, and snapping her purse shut.
