It had been decided that Chun and Olivia would meet with Lucy in a classroom in a dungeon. Olivia wasn’t ready to take her down to the Chamber of secrets just yet. No, they needed Lucy to trust them first before they take her down there to let her see the basilisk just yet. No they needed to get her used to the group, and they needed to make sure no one does anything to her for the time being despite the fact that she is a half-vampire. She knew how quite a bit of people felt about that, but she was determined to make sure people keep those feeling hidden for the time being.
So now Olivia was pacing back and forth in an empty classroom down in the dungeon as she waited for Chun and Lucy to show up. She had decided not to include Jacob in on this meeting, feeling it was better if Lucy was around the two top girls of the Dark Knight group. Plus she had a feeling that Jacob would get his views on tainted blood in the way and perhaps attack her or hurt her in some way. No they didn’t want that, for the plan wouldn’t work out the way they wanted it to. As much as Olivia didn’t really like it, they needed Lucy in case something goes wrong, plus Lucy was the only other Parseltounge in the school, which was exactly what they needed.
Soon she heard footsteps down the hallway; she wondered if that was her beloved Chun that was coming first. She smiled, thinking of the kiss she gave Chun the other day down in the Chamber of Secrets. They had decided to keep their relationship hidden, mainly due to the fact that Chun was in an arranged marriage with Jaycen. But Olivia had planned on getting her out of that situation. Plus Olivia didn’t need Dante bugging her yet about her dating Chun. She was sure that he wouldn’t be happy either. But now wasn’t the time to think of that. Now was the time to let Lucy know she was “accepted”.

She was smiles today. It was something of a rarity on her part, but at the moment, Chun found there weren't a whole lot of things she could complain about at the moment. Plans were going smoothly, a lot smoother than she had originally expected. Barring Jacob's trouble-making streak, there hadn't been very many obstacles... yet. Chun most certainly wasn't going to fool herself into thinking that it would just go without a hitch the closer they got to their goal. Something was inevitably going to go wrong at some point, hopefully not too spectacularly. The slytherin had a few contingency plans should something inevitably go awry, ranging from escape routes to throwing herself out to take the fall if needed.
Hopefully, that last contingency plan wouldn't be needed, especially with the meeting tonight. Chun didn't care much for magical blood. She wouldn't say it was strong enough to be hate. After all, the Chinese girl was well-versed in the matters of loathing-- maybe a bit more than she would've liked. If Olivia had said that magical blood was a no, then that was fine by her. She wasn't entirely sure what her dark lady would do with Zmeyette at the end of it all, but she liked to think services rendered would grant some sort of mercy on the werewolf. Of course, that wasn't why she was here. Lucy was the issue tonight, and Chun couldn't help being more than just a little happy about their little scapegoat plot. Really, it wasn't any personal about the Sanguini girl, she'd rather just put as much distance as she could between herself and that last-resort plan.
The dementor's kiss wasn't something the Chinese girl would want to go through. At least dying the old fashion way would allow her to keep her soul-- though she supposed she would be going to hell anyway. Hm. Shaking the thought from her mind, she easily made her way to the abandoned classroom that would serve as their meeting place. Honestly, Chun was hoping to beat Lucy to the area, for business and personal reasons. It would be good to mentally prepare for the conversation, though she was really looking to Olivia to handle most of the conversation. She wasn't particularly skilled in conversation, and just meeting people in general. She wasn't about to scare the girl off, much less reveal anything to the actual strategy behind it all.
That didn't take much though. Really, she was just looking forward to talking to Olivia privately, even just for a minute or two. It was silly really how satisfied she had been to finally get her emotions out to the brunette. Secret relationships were stressful, sure, but it certainly wasn't the only thing she had ever hid from her family and friends. They acted normal in public, Chun keeping her thoughts to herself, things were likely going to go smoothly. Er, except for Dante, she supposed. She really didn't like lying to her cousin. The guy had been a positive presence for her since her start at Hogwarts, and it felt more than a little odd to be dating his fiancee right behind his back.
She shook the thought from her mind, opening the door with a small smile at seeing Olivia alone. ”Hey,” the Slytherin had greeted quietly, easily making her way over to the other girl. She had hesitated for just a moment before reaching over and giving a light kiss to her. It was more than just a little new to her, and something Chun knew would take a while to get used to. ”You ready? I admit, I don't know a lot about Sanguini.”

[/div] Something in the Way she Moves
Lucy had received an invitation to join Olivia and Chun in the dungeons, without even asking for one. She'd honestly been ignoring the rise of Olivia for a while, just doing her own thing. But she wasn't surprised when she'd seen the note on her bed. She was a great choice to join the Dark Knights. She wasn't going to go and beg, of course, but she was proud that she'd gotten in on her own. Slipping out of her bed, she pulled her hair back into a long braid and slipped her feet into some boots. Pulling a sweater down over her torso, she grabbed her wand and shoved it up the sleeve.
Walking from her dorm, the naive Slytherin walked silently towards the dungeons, avoiding all professors and other prefects. She pulled her wand from her sleeve and whispered a spell that light candles all along the hallways she walked through so that she didn't have to hold her wand. Sticking it back in the sleeve and continuing on, Lucy wondered what they were going to tell her. Maybe she was walking into a trap. She was after all, tainted blood. But maybe Olivia had seen past the vampire part and saw her Pureblood status. Nearing the place they were supposed to meet, Lucy pulled the braid from her hair and shook it out, enjoying the curls that spilled over her shoulders. She was too superficial to walk into a meeting with a person this important without looking her best.
Stepping from the shadows, her blue eyes glinted in the low light. The classroom was empty except for Olivia and Chun. She heard Chun whispering that she didn't know a lot about Lucy, and she smirked. Of course she didn't. Lucy kept her business to herself. She kept her secrets private. "Good evening ladies," she said, announcing her presence. She looked between either witch and made sure that her wand could slid from the large sweater she wore, in case she had to defend herself. Magic combined with her vampire abilities would make her quite a match, but she was still likely to lose a duel if it came to one.

Olivia smiled at Chun when she entered the room, glad that the small Chinese girl made it there before Lucy Sanguini did. She would’ve taken a hold of Chun’s hand, if it wasn’t for the fact that they needed to keep their relationship a secret and Lucy should be showing up any moment now.
“You ready? I admit, I don't know a lot about Sanguini.” Olivia was about to respond to Chun when she heard more footsteps approach and knew it was Lucy so instead she just nodded just before Lucy entered the room. She didn’t need to know much of Lucy beforehand anyways as all Olivia had to do was peer into her mind. It wasn’t like Lucy would even realize that she was reading her mind.
Olivia smiled at half-vampire girl as she entered the room. She was well dressed and groomed for this meeting. Good, she should take it to be a very important meeting after all. Olivia took a moment to peer into the girl’s thoughts knowing full well that she would be cautious when it came to this meeting. She seemed a bit skeptical, though if she could read Olivia’s thoughts she would be after all. But of course Olivia was going to make sure she thought they really wanted her here. Both Chun and Olivia knew how to hold their disgust back, whereas Jacob didn’t and that was why wasn’t here.
“Good evening ladies,” Olivia smiled again, quite liking how polite she was with greeting the two of them. “Good evening to you as well Lucy dear. I’m quite glad to see you’ve gotten our invite we’ve sent you. I trust you don’t hope that I casted a privacy spell over this room. Don’t want any of the wrong people hearing what we have to talk about after all,” she said lightly hoping that the young girl would understand that privacy was key when it came to this little group.

Chun hid her disappointment in how prompt Lucy's arrival had been, mentally cursing herself for not arriving earlier. She supposed she had already told herself the truth on the matter though: duty would always come first, no matter the circumstances. The slytherin would give the vampire some credit for being prompt, but already that look the vampire was giving her was getting on her nerves. Confidence was good, but a smirk sent her way wasn't something she necessarily appreciated. If it wasn't about business, it was something she had done or said. Under normal circumstances, that would've equated to a punch in the face, but well, she was here to play nice-- or act like it at least. She doubt Olivia was enjoying this meeting much either.
The Chinese girl gave a curt nod in Lucy's greeting, but refrained from speaking for the moment. She wanted to observe a little before really saying much. She played the part of Slytherin well, but hell, even Delaney could present such an image if he chose to every now and again. Chun wasn't sure what she was expecting, but playing the perfect little slytherin was a good start. She didn't expect trust right away, but enough there to string the girl along was good enough. They had one purpose for her and that was it. At the very least, Sanguini seemed to be regarding the meeting for its importance. That was a good sign, one that likely wasn't lost on Olivia's part.
Chun wondered briefly if it would make things easier if she tried to learn a special skill or anything. She studied Herbology religiously, but other than healing practices and the occasional poisoning, it wasn't particularly useful in actual combat or planning. The slytherin wasn't entirely sure what would appeal to her, and how she would go about getting a teacher while she was at it. She didn't really take much to socializing. ”I'm sure you have some idea as to what this is about,” Chun spoke quietly. She was more than happy allowing her dark lady to handle most of the talking for this meeting, and it'd likely look better if she did. Olivia was the de-facto leader after all.

Lucy kind of ignored Chun for now. She had no beef with the girl, but she was here for Olivia, for her new leader. She dipped her head (forcefully) into a small bow, her eyes connecting with Olivia's. Chun stood to the side of her and gave her a curt nod. Lucy returned it without taking her eyes off of Olivia. She understood what the need for the privacy spell was. It meant that nobody could hear them talking unless they were in the empty classroom. That is, if anybody had even followed Lucy down here, which with her excellent hearing she would have heard if someone was.
She pulled a chair towards her and sat in it while listening and waiting. She knew that she was here to be inducted into the new order of the Dark Knights. She knew that she was an asset to Olivia, because she was the only other parseltongue in the school. That thought alone made her really important, and she smirked. Crossing her legs politely, Lucy waited for the conversation to continue. Realizing that it was her turn to speak, she cleared her throat.
"I'm here because I'm a valuable piece to your plan Olivia. I speak to snakes, and you and I are the only two in the school that can." She looked at Chun and wondered what the girl's ability was, if she even had one. Surely she did, why would Olivia count her as her right hand lady if she in fact didn't have an ability, or skill? "I understand the need for the privacy spell, in fact I would have cast one myself. But you are clearly the mastermind here Miss, because you have already added one." Lucy dipped her head again in respect. This time it was a little easier. Lucy had never been one to bow to others, or show her belly to a superior. She'd always considered herself superior, so to her it was difficult to do so, even if it was Olivia.

“I'm here because I'm a valuable piece to your plan Olivia. I speak to snakes, and you and I are the only two in the school that can.” Olivia raised a brow at her, was Lucy trying to make it look like she knew what their plans were? Well of course Lucy knew that she was a parsletounge, but she was curious if she also know that Olivia also happened to be a Legilimens. She peered into the young half-vampire’s mind and could see that Lucy just thought Olivia scouted out people for their talents. Olivia smirked as she looked over at Chun. Chun may not have amazing talents, but there was something about Chun that drew Olivia to her. “I understand the need for the privacy spell, in fact I would have cast one myself. But you are clearly the mastermind here Miss, because you have already added one.” Olivia smirked, glad that Lucy was already showing respect towards her. But then again, she knew that Lucy would seeing as the young Slytherin girl had always shown that she wanted to join up with Olivia.
“Yes, indeed it’s very rare to find another parsletounge in the world, let alone in the same school,
” she told Lucy lightly. She wanted to make Lucy feel like she was special, so that way she felt like she was really wanted for the Dark Knights. “ I believe you would make an excellent Dark Knight. Don’t you think so Chun,” Olivia smirked lightly as she glanced over at Chun wondering what she would say out loud. Sure in reality the two of them disliked Lucy very much, but they weren’t going to let her know that. Besides, she was just a pawn in their plan after all. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

She listened to the conversation carefully, but really, her mind was already drifting just a tad. Olivia had it covered for the most part, and wasn't much for being friendly at the moment. Lucy spoke with a confidence and was clear, but they were lies they wanted her to believe in. If anything, being the only other parsletongue made her a liability. There wasn't much value in keeping a close eye to watch someone, then throwing them under the bus at the right time. Of course, Lucy hadn't yet been informed of the basilisk, so it was likely she didn't know much of how much value she really could have if she used it right. Though, Chun had the distinct feeling if it came down to blackmail, they would be more planning on how to stash her body out in the Forbidden Forest rather than feign excitement in her joining them.
At least things seemed to be going as planned. While the slytherin could do planning decently well, actual negotiations were something out of her forte. She preferred simple choices: you do things her way or you received a lovely punch to the face. Admittedly, Chun had gotten better about it in the seven years of attending Hogwarts, but she only had a certain amount of patience with people she particularly didn't care about. She brought her attention back to the actual conversation when she heard Olivia's words, briefly glancing in the brunette's direction before focusing on Lucy. She forced a smile. ”I'm sure she'll be perfect in our ranks,” Chun muttered. Just as long as she was smart enough to keep her mouth shut, as Lucy seemed to be, she would work well enough.

Lucy was glad that they felt good about letting her join their group. She straightened her back proudly, hoping that she wasn't being rude. She was a proud woman, and that could sometimes be her character flaw. She tended to think she was the best. It was her defense against all those who picked on her. It couldn't be helped, she'd been doing it all these years. Olivia seemed glad that Lucy was here, but that Chun girl, she didn't seem as excited, or welcoming. Lucy mentally sniffed and decided that it wasn't about impressing Chun, she was here for Olivia.
"I would be honored to be a Dark Knight. I can't see myself receiving any higher honor." She nodded her head matter of factly. She really didn't think that there would be anything better than this. She would finally be appreciated and feared. She would receive the respect that she had always yearned for and demanded. This was not only an opportunity to show she was worthy, but an opportunity to finally get back at those other students for all their years of torturing.
She still wasn't sure about Chun though. She was too quiet, it made Lucy think that she was plotting something, or else that her mind wasn't here. She felt like Chun wasn't really into this whole thing, like she didn't care. Not that she blamed her. Who would want to be here to listen to a new person spout her thanks for joining the newest dark group? Lucy decided her best option was to just ignore that feeling and wait for Olivia to continue.

“I'm sure she'll be perfect in our ranks,” Olivia smiled and nodded at Chun before she turned to look at Lucy again. Her lips, still curled up into a smile as if she was trying to show the half-vampire girl that she was being friendly with her. She needed Lucy to think they were friends after all. It seemed like the two of them had to wait for Lucy to answer, but that didn’t matter as Olivia already knew what her answer was going to be. Oh the joys of being a Legilimens.
“I would be honored to be a Dark Knight. I can't see myself receiving any higher honor.” Olivia’s soft lips curled up into a wider smile glad to see that Lucy was so proud to be a Dark Knight. “Well I’m glad you’re are honored, as we are quite glad you’ve accepted this position. From now on, you will sit with us at the Slytherin Table. Don’t worry, no one will hurt or make fun of you know, not with you under my wing,
” Olivia said coolly to her. She knew that Lucy would like the fact that no one would make fun of her now, all the more to make the little tainted girl feel like she really belonged with them. With them, she’ll feel like she’s really a witch and not be cursed at because of her tainted blood. Olivia will just have to make sure to keep Jacob from wanting to spout off his nonsense. But she knew that the boy would listen to her. He may slip once in a while, but he would always listen to her in the end. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
Ah, good. An Olivia seal of approval. She was slightly worried that she looked a little too bored. She probably did look a bit bored, but Chun thought that maybe too much enthusiasm on her part would look a bit suspicious. If the girl had any realistic expectations of her abilities, her being overtly enthusiastic over her joining would be a pretty big red flag. Recruitment was a tedious process, and even though Olivia was personally asking her to join, it still was just that. At least, to Sanguini. Chun was honestly quite happy to see Lucy to take the scapegoat role. Put some padding between her and Azkaban, certainly.
She was surprised to hear the offer for Lucy to sit at the table with them, but thinking on it, it probably shouldn't have. They needed this to look the part beyond just offering her to join. If they treated her any more negatively than other members, questions would be raised quickly. However, she was a bit worried about those in their troupe that did have trouble with magical bloods. Some wouldn't be as quick to get with the program as others. They would definitely need to be careful on who she was introduced to and how in their presence.
Chun didn't mind magical bloods thankfully, but she wasn't sure on Jacob. It might have been partly why he wasn't present this evening, a fact that wouldn't surprise her too much. The man's sociopathic tendencies could easily get them into trouble some day-- though she really wasn't one to talk. ”Welcome to the group,” the slytherin spoke, having a bit more enthusiasm before. She could at least give Sanguini a nice welcome at least. ”The respect you have is appreciated.”

Lucy dipped her head, a silent thank you to Olivia. She was now allowed to sit at her own house table with Olivia, which meant that she wasn't going to be picked on. That made her feel much better about her day to day life, since she was going to be an equal, whether or not Hogwarts liked it. She was now a newly appointed Dark Knight, and as such, she would not be treated as dirt underneath someone's foot. She would not be tortured when she walked through the halls.
"I can't tell you how much this means to me," she said, smiling to both Olivia and Chun. She would warm up to them soon enough. She would understand her position soon enough. After all, she must be important if she was a parseltongue. She knew that when Voldemort was alive, he cherished those with the ability to speak to snakes. So Olivia must too, right? Especially since it was considered a Dark Art. Lucy folded her hands in her lap and waited for the conversation to continue.
"Thanks Chun, you seem so excited all of a sudden, to have me join your group. I felt a bit out of place for a moment there. And respect is power." Lucy smiled at Chun, deciding that the girl might not be so bad after all. She had a feeling that this was just the opportunity she needed to finally fit in with everyone, to eventually make them fear her and destroy them for all the pain they'd caused her, mostly physical.

“ The respect you have is appreciated.” Olivia nodded in agreement with Chun and watched as Lucy dipped her head slightly in a thank you. “ I can't tell you how much this means to me,” Olivia smirked, glad to see that the young half-vampire really was taking this meeting to heart. It seemed that so far everything was going along perfectly and she hoped that for the sake of their plan and back-up plan, that it all will go well.
“ Thanks Chun, you seem so excited all of a sudden, to have me join your group. I felt a bit out of place for a moment there. And respect is power.” Olivia nodded once more, indeed respect is power. That was the same way that Olivia felt, she wanted people to respect her as well as fear her. She knew it would happen one day, but today wasn’t the time. Sure she had her plan of setting her soon to be hatched pet basilisk out on the school to get rid of those disgusting mudbloods and blood traitors. But she didn’t want anyone to know it was her just yet. It wasn’t time for her to come out as the Dark Lady. No it wouldn’t be time for a couple more years. Once she was out of Hogwarts, she was going to slowly work on getting things together for her and the Dark Knights and then one day they’ll show the world that they mean business.
“Well Lucy, I’m quite please that you came as well as accepting to become a Dark Knight,
” she started before digging into her back before pulling out a coin, that looked to be the size of a galleon, but it was of a green and silver color as well as a Symbol that Olivia had created for the Dark Knights. “ Make sure to keep this coin on you at all times, don’t let anyone else see it . It’s my method of gathering up the Dark Knights when it comes time to meet up. We always meet in the second floor girls bathroom where Chun and Jacob will show you the way to get down to a very secret chamber. It may be a while for the next meeting, but when the coin warms up and glows, that’s when you know that you’ve been summoned.” she said softly as she placed the coin in Lucy’s hand. “ Now we must get going, Chun and I have a couple of things we need to attend to. We’ll see you at dinner,” she smirked lightly before looking over at Chun. Waiting for Chun to say something before the three of them would head on out. She was pretty happy to recognize the ending of the conversation, knowing that the purpose of it had been fulfilled. Lucy had walked into the trap perfectly, and so long as they did their part correctly, they had a perfect little scapegoat for the end of the year. If you asked Chun, it seemed like things were going too perfectly. The half-vampire didn't seem to have any suspicions at all about this meeting and was almost like putty to their words. Maybe Olivia had a more powerful status than the Chinese girl gave her girlfriend credit for. It wasn't something that she necessarily paid attention to on a daily basis, more interested on whether or not people would leave her alone. Though it hardly mattered to her, it was a tidbit that might be important later.
Ah, so she did come off to be a bit too aloof to Sanguini. She was much more thankful that she had spoken up then. ”I do apologize for any lack of enthusiasm,” Chun explained quietly, ”It's been a bit of a long day, and I'm not one for conversation in the first place.” If all else fails, fall back on formality. It did seem a bit foreign on her tongue to speak in such a manner, but she thought it only fair to give Lucy some respect-- for now. The slytherin wasn't sure she wanted to get comfortable enough to speak plainly with Sanguini. It would seem too much like friendship. She supposed she would have to eventually in order to not raise any flags.
Mm. Dinner. The slytherin admit she was looking forward to it this evening. The time spent practicing for quidditch easily made her hungry. She recognized the glance from Olivia, though not entirely sure what to say at this point. The Asian was at least very happy to know that she would get some privacy after the meeting. ”I'm looking forward to working with you, Lucy.” Hm. Seemed adequate enough.
