Okay so maybe this potion probably wasn’t the best idea to make on her own, for the first time. But if she managed to get it right, it would definitely look impressive which was what she was going for. She looked down at the instructions making sure to read over what would go after the quills, given that the only reason that this potion wasn’t properly made sometimes was because you didn’t stir it enough times in between ingredients. She remembered when they did this for fifth year, one of the girls had forgotten the stirrings in between two of the ingredients and there had been no way of fixing it. She had basically needed to start over, which had been sad because she had put so much work into it. So Layla wanted to avoid that, and that would only be accomplished by reading the ingredients carefully and making sure that she didn’t forget any stirrings or the order of things. She watched as the water turned the appropriate color and she read the next ingredient which would be the valerian root, before she added that in, she stirred the concoction red and then added the root. She had to wait for it to settle before adding the next ingredients, and well she was nervous about the order but she didn’t want to show it. In an attempt to make herself feel better she turned to Steve.
“See, so far so good. Maybe I’m not as hopeless as we thought” she said.
She turned her attention back the cauldron, and she added the powdered unicorn horn, she stirred the concoction four times clockwise after that one, before adding the next ingredient which was the powdered moonstone. The potion was turning the color it was supposed to end up being in the end, so that meant that she was doing it right, which she could only smile about. If she managed to pull of the Draught of Peace without any major incident she might be able to try the Draught of the Living Death which was one of the potions that they had made this year. Hers hadn’t been very successful but maybe now that she was getting better at focusing and she was trying more she could actually make a decent potion. She had finally reached the final ingredient which was the hellebore but she had to remember that she had to stir the concoction seven times both clockwise and counter-clockwise, sometimes it was because of this that the potion failed and Layla was not looking to fail at this. After she did that, she lowered the flames under the cauldron, remembering that important detail before adding it in, and then looking down at it. It seemed to be the appropriate color, and after letting it simmer for seven minutes she would truly know if she had managed to make the correct potion. Or if she had just managed to get the potion to look right, and have it end up being completely wrong.
“Now we wait seven minutes and see if I did it right” she said, “But I think I did do it right”

Steve was looking at Layla as she was mixing in the ingredients and was still glad that her response to his kiss on her cheek at least registered a little bit. Even though he could tell she wasn't used to his shameless flirting, but he never originally did that at all. Right now he was more content just mixing another potion, but had to find the right ingredients for it on the spot. Sure she was putting all the ingredients in the right order, but he was obviously making sure that every step was performed to the tea. Steve did trust her enough to make it on her own, but he wasn't about to let her get away with messing it up on the spot. Even as she was stirring the ingredients in, he had to make sure to duck just in case she added too much of something. Even with the concoction that was soon finished, and waited seven minutes.
It seemed like forever until he noticed the potion itself finally settling after wards. Once it reached it's natural color which was a nice silvery strand of liquid, he soon watched it settling, and wanted to kiss her right then and there. It was one of the most perfect batches he had seen in a while, and wasn't about to let her know what he was thinking right then and there. Soon he just nodded towards her and then started to pace around the potion in agreeance with her about it. Even if talking wasn't going to help him but he had to agree with her, at least she wasn't as worthless now. Although, he had never thought that about her, but soon he was walking up towards her. Pressing a fist to her cheek very gently nudging her to the side with it, chuckling softly.
"Way to go, Layla, now just remember to do that during potion's class too, and imagine me helping you, trying to impress me again. Even though you never need to impress me just so you know," he added, now starting to blush when he said that, and he definitely didn't say something unless he meant it. Sure, his goofy, chill nature gave him a slight edge to other people, but even if he was a Slytherin that didn't mean he didn't like Ravenclaw as a house in general. Amusing as it may be, he was just watching the peaceful potion staring him in the face and wondered if it would indeed taste like that. Felix Felicitis was a potion he was tempted to try making right on the spot, however it was almost impossible to make without the right ingredients. Even Steve had trouble with that one, but he was certain he could do it. Now he had to say something, but no, he'd wait for the masquerade ball for that to happen. Although he had no idea she was going to be his partner there, unable to determine what to say next.
There really wasn't anythign else he could say at the moment, but it was weird too, like he was waiting for her to speak to him again.

She watched the potion, cautiously just hoping that it wouldn’t spontaneously do something wrong. She had followed the directions explicitly, double checking before she added anything else. She knew how potentially dangerous the potion was, and the last thing she wanted was to cause a mini explosion because she had been dense enough to not read the directions clearly. Well if she would have done that it would have made her look like a really bad Ravenclaw, because they were usually supposed to be smart. She wasn’t sure if it was relief or just gratified that she had managed to make the make the potion correctly. Maybe it was a bit of both, but she smiled, a genuine full smile, when she saw the silver vapor being emitted from the cauldron. She would have never lived it down, if she would have failed and she knew that. But no, she had read the directions correctly, she had probably managed the best batch of the Draught of Peace she could have ever made. Well this meant that there was hope for her when it came to Potions, just as long as she double read the instructions from now on, then again maybe she had just been lucky. She was a little surprised at Steve’s action when he saw that she had successfully made the potion, she hadn’t been expecting that. Probably a hug, but hey beggars couldn’t be choosers.
“What makes you so sure I was trying to impress you?” she asked.
She obviously had, but she wasn’t about to openly admit it. Either way the potion making had been a success and Layla could proudly walk around saying she had made a great Draught of Peace. Either way she felt more at ease now, and it made her want to celebrate, or just stop making potions altogether. After all maybe this was just some fluke and the next potion she tried to make would end up blowing in her face. Actually that wasn’t something she would want to happen, because it would make any and all progress she had made go back like twenty steps. Maybe it would be a good idea to just stop with the potions for the day, after all they could talk about other things. Conversation had never been an issue when she was hanging out with Steve, sometime she lingered after their sessions just to talk to him. She enjoyed talking to him, even if sometimes she wanted to hit him when he did silly things, he was fun to be around. Molly obviously teased her about it, often saying ridiculous things, but Layla didn’t give her best friend too much thought when it came to her friendship with Steve. She was pretty sure if there was possibility for something else there, it would happen eventually. Not that she had a lot of experience in that department, but these things tended to happen on their own anyway. She just wanted to focus on being friends with him, at least for now.
“Okay so I think as a prize, we can stop with the potions and just hang out” she said, “Unless you have somewhere you have to be”

Steve just nodded towards Layla as he viewed her complexion as one that was incredibly lovely, but surely she wouldn't notice him staring all that much. Even as she had made her first successful potion with him standing there, but he knew that she never messed up when he was tutoring her. Steve had to assume that it was a good thing she was happy about it, considering he would have probably in big doodoo if he had been watching her throughout the whole process. Wanting to actually comment on one part of it, but he just wanted to take a sip of it to make sure it was actually great, not wanting to drift into a coma cause of it.
Layla probably knew that the side effects were indeed a deep coma if the potion wasn't done right at all, but as soon as he took a sip his eyes widened lightly. A stupid grin approached his face as he was tempted to just faint from it, but he couldn't. Just cause of the potion, it kept him up-right as his eyes sparkled a little with the peacefulness flooding over him. It seemed as if all conflicts within him were resolved and he found he no longer had a care in the world for a fight to even break out. “What makes you so sure I was trying to impress you?” "Haha, you're right, silly me, I should have known that's not what it is. After all getting a potion right does fit your description of doing something to gain praise from me. Good job though, I ...feel wonderful," he said to her.
Even just being at peace with himself seemed to have brought a sudden change to his attitude, as he was no longer being sarcastic at all. Although his energy was still obviously there as he soon just let his arms wrap around her in a tight hug again. This time it was longer as he held her tight to him before letting go. Steve normally didn't hug Layla this much, but what could it mean? As far as his facial expressions went. There was no blush evident, just a warm smile that could captivate anyone. “Unless you have somewhere you have to be” "Well I'm not going to e defending my little sister today I don't think, after all I find hanging out with a best friend more important than just hanging out with my sister right now. Considering I needed to tutor you in the first place, I don't see no harm in it," he said moving to lean against a tree near her, sitting to one side so she'd have room to sit by him.

She opened her mouth to stop him just because it looked right didn’t mean it actually was. The last thing she would need was to have him go into a coma or something, and then she’d be in trouble for attempting a potion like this on her own without any adult supervision. But of course Steve wanted to serve as a guinea pig again and he was a lot quicker than she was. Darn her slow reflexes, she would have to become a faster reactor if this kept up. He commented on her comment, she felt a bit bad about saying that because she had been trying to impress him. But she was embarrassed to admit that, because well it would hint that she cared about his opinion. And that of course could make him play connect the dots, and he could probably guess her feelings. She wasn’t sure if he even felt the same way, it was why she never said anything. They had a nice friendship, and the last thing Layla wanted was to make it awkward. But still she couldn’t help but notice how peaceful he looked, and he confirmed it by saying he felt wonderful. So she had done it right, thank god. She smiled, feeling extremely proud of herself, just because she had done it right.
“Okay good, but no more testing out my potions okay” she said, “I don’t want you to go into a coma or something, from mixing together too many potions, or to get poisoned which would be worse”
She was surprised when he pulled her into another hug, it was tighter than the one before and once again it brought the blush to her face. Darn him and his ability to make her blush. Never in her life had she met someone so prone to making her turn red to the face and it was rather embarrassing. But she appreciated the hug, it meant that he was happy and therefore the potion was doing its job. This one was longer and she found herself liking it more and more, the longer he held on. She was sure that it was a friendly hug but she couldn’t help the butterflies that she was getting as a result of the hug. When he finally did release her, she gave him a nervous smile trying her best to not start giggling like a nervous idiot. She smiled though when he agreed, though she wasn’t sure if he meant that they would be continuing on with their potion making or if they could just relax. He really didn’t look like he was in the position to oversee her making anymore potions anyway, and they could just stare at the lake for a while. Maybe if it got late enough they could even watch the sun set or something, though she was pretty sure they wouldn’t be here that long. She moved over a little so that she was closer to him given that he had given her a little more space and , she allowed a happy sigh to escape her lips as she just focused on the lake. It made her happy, the view was wonderful and she just felt more relaxed now that she knew she didn’t completely suck at potions.
“Such a pretty view” she commented with a smile.

Steve was amused that Layla was telling him not to test her potions as if she was actually speaking to some sort of lab rat that willingly went wherever it was told. No, he only tested out -her- potions when he knew they were made right, but he wasn't going to argue that fact as he really -couldn't- with that potion coursing through him. Peace was by far the best feeling he had felt in a while and there were no conflicts waging wars within his mind today. Not even the ones about his feelings for Layla, he'd just reveal them to her as the day went on, but if she really wanted some truth from him she'd have to use the verisaterum to get a straight answer out of him.
Of course even Steve really didn't know much about that potion itself, but it was vague enough in his mind that he could probably procure an actual reaction without too many consequences. Shrugging that aside, he returned her concern with just a shrug smiling dreamily at her. "I'm afraid if I didn't, then I don't know who else would come along to try to take it. I'd rather be the one to sample your work, although yes I won't drink anymore after this. I don't want to worry you, as I care about you a lot," he blurted out without really thinking about it. Seeing as how that was the potion talking as he was about to say something that would make them quarrel over the dumbest thing again.
Steve wasn't even blushing as he sat down beside Layla, and then brashly just rubbed up lightly against her as he used his hands to lean back as he looked out the view before them. It was ironic that she'd say such a thing about such a view when he had a perfect one either way he looked, whether it was at the lake or her eyes. A blush conveyed his thoughts a little as his one hand brushed over her own as he looked towards her a little curiously as he brought it back abruptly clearing his throat. "Sorry, but yes you're right this is the perfect view no matter where I look," he said that as soon as he was gazing towards her.

The potion really did seem to have had the desired effect because he looked very relaxed and somewhat out of it. Especially given that he seemed very at ease right now, but still this would make her a bit more careful with her potions. The last thing she really did want was to end up poisoning him, or killing him by making an potion wrong, and it looking correct. But luckily for her, that hadn’t been the case this time and she could just try and relax. If she started to think about it too much then she’d start to get all frazzled and not enjoy the fact she had successfully made the draught of peace all on her own. It was tempting to throw the potion in a flask and go and give it to the potion’s professor to test out. After all if she impressed the potions professor, then she’d definitely be given a bit more credit. If Steve had been impressed, and he had seen her constant failings, surely their professor would be ecstatic over her recent improvement. Then again she could run the risk of being told that all she needed to do was be extra careful from now on, and Layla was sure that hadn’t been her only problem.
“Good, the last thing I want to do is to have you die on me because you had some sort of bad reaction to the potion or something” she said, “Though it does seem to have given you a pleasant attitude, how do you feel?”
She smiled as she looked out at the view, it really was nice. She could only imagine that it looked about a million times more beautiful to Steve who was perfectly at ease. When she was sitting there with him she was reminded of one of the things she loved about Hogwarts. Well she loved a lot of things, but this was one of the things that always seemed to catch her off guard, even after six years of studying there. It was the magnificent views that were provided in random spots of the school, the Ravenclaw tower had a beautiful view of the mountains, and the lake looked gorgeous this time of day. They were truly blessed to have a school like this, that had such pretty views and it allowed you to have a lot of room to roam and explore. She turned her attention to Steve when he spoke again, giving him a teasing smile. The potion was really changing his attitude, not that he had a bad attitude or something, but she was pretty certain he wouldn’t be saying some of the things that were coming out of his mouth, if it hadn’t been for the potion. Still she was probably gaining vast material to tease him, especially since he could be a bit of a flirt. She wasn’t sure if he was serious, or if he was just joking around with her right now. But she could use his comment as material right now, especially because they wouldn’t even fight about it.
“I bet you say that to all the girls” she teased lightly.

Steve was certainly not one to argue in general, but he did like adding his little quips to whenever she tried being smart with him. Just the way his attitude worked usually, and even now he was unsure of what was going to happen between the two of them. Having helped her with the potion at some point, but this had been on their OWL test last year, wondering if she had actually made hers correctly for the first time. Amusingly enough, they had been in the same class for most of their time just normally ignoring each other from time to time due to the fact he'd make little comments on how to make her potion better. That was during their earlier years until he had been actually paired with her, and that's when things changed.
After seeing how good he was, she had quickly succumbed to being taught by him, but he figured there was an ulterior motive. The draught of peace seemed to bring out more of his self-esteem than usual. Listening to her comment on that, he frowned slightly, a little hurt. Obviously she had said the wrong thing to him for a change and he looked away for a mere moment. Not saying anything hurt-ful since the potion really restrained him from doing so, as he then quirked a smile at her, pretending he wasn't effected by that. Yet, deep down, he felt as if she thought he was always joking with her and wasn't always serious.
"You're the only girl I ever flirt with , Layla, I mean, why would I flirt with anyone else? That would just cause complications when all I need is right here," he blurted out, and covered his mouth suddenly. A deep blush made him crimson with that spoke thought, but she must have known he liked her. Or had some quivering feeling deep down, but may she'd pass it off as the potion talking although he had almost drooled a little when he said that. Having caught himself before he further embarrassed himself. The potion was starting to wear off, "Haha, wow...uhm...guess that's out now.." he said scratching the back of his head.
Looking out towards the lake, and now he was hoping her response wouldn't be something of a sarcastic nature.

Of course she hadn’t meant that he didn’t have a pleasant attitude in general because that was far from the truth. But it made him a lot more relaxed, which she was sure was the whole point. Steve was pleasant company to keep, though she often wondered if she truly relaxed around people. They had fun together, they were good friends, but this was truly the most relaxed she had ever seen him. She knew that the potion had to do that, after all it was called the draught of peace for a reason, but she had never actually seen it in action. Usually when they made this potion in class, the teacher based how well they did on appearance alone because you couldn’t try everyone’s potions when it came to that lesson. After all if you had too much of it, you could end up in a coma and well that would definitely manage to disrupt a lesson. So Layla had never expected to actually see her concoction take effect on anyone, but of course Steve had decided to play human guinea pig, so she was seeing it firsthand. At the realization of her earlier comment, she decided to let him know, in case he had taken it the wrong way (which she hoped he hadn’t) that she could amend it.
“Not that you don’t have a pleasant attitude in general, I’m just saying you look so much more relaxed than usual, more at peace, if that makes any sense” she said.
He responded to her comment about the girls, and she could feel the heat rise to her face again. When he said things like that, she really had no idea if he was doing it in a I’m just joking around with you manner, or if he was serious. After all she didn’t want to outright ask him because that question had the potential to be the elephant in the room. The last thing she wanted was to kill her friendship with Steve, he was a great tutor and if she was honest she loved to spend time with him. He was one of the few people outside Molly and Jayce that she felt truly comfortable with. Not that she had problems with the other people in her house, or in their year, but she didn’t know everyone as well as she knew her best friends, and as well as she had gotten to know Steve. It did help that she obviously liked him, as more than a friend, she was allowed to admit that to herself, but to no one else. It was why she usually got embarrassed when he said things like what he had just said. She wanted him to be completely serious about it, but she also didn’t want to get her hopes up only to have them be crushed. She noticed he turned red too, and she wasn’t sure because he realized what he said, or he probably didn’t mean it. She watched him realize it, and then scratch that back of his head, definitely something he hadn’t meant to say. She wasn’t sure how to respond the best course of action was to pretend he hadn’t said anything.
“We can pretend that you didn’t say anything, if you didn’t want me to know what you just said” she offered.

Steve was really confused now, and he felt like his heart was pounding in three different directions. Due to her unabashed reaction, he clearly wasn't sure if she was taking him seriously at all anymore, but he sighed softly. Unable to determine if he wanted to mean what he said, but some part of him would be relieved if he just told her how he felt. That would determine just how she truly felt about him and would actually ease the pang of guilt he was already feeling about not telling her the truth. It was just like Steve to bury his feelings for someone but he knew if he attached himself to Layla, he wouldn't be as devoted to his little sister that he protects with his own life. Instead he'd probably chose Layla over her, although his family did come first.
Steve shook his head, not wanting to think of scary scenarios like that where it ended up being life or death, and finally just shook his head slowly to himself. Mustering up the courage as his heart started to beat a thousand times per second, and soon his lips moved. Surely they wanted to say it, yes, they did, and he managed them slowly. It was sort of amusing if Layla was watching him quarrel with himself as his emotions seemed to pass freely across his face. One moment he was looking at her as if he was idolizing her and the next he was looking away with a distant thoughtful look. Then when he looked back to her his hand caressed her own.
"I always mean what I say no matter how I joke about it when it pertains to you," he said slowly, his tone now serious as he looked into her eyes, then locked his fingers with hers. This was just the first step, he probably would need to initiate a kiss soon, but he was too scared to. That and the masquerade ball having come up was his main chance to see if fate would really bring them together as his hand left hers. Holding it against his heart as he looked at her with his usual smile, letting his heart-felt one show out to her. "I never want you to forget anything I say...no matter how silly it is," he said to her, teasing her with that last sentence, but he knew fully well she probably wouldn't.

She secretly hoped that he was serious, but there was a part of her that just wanted him to pretend like he hadn’t said anything. The last thing she wanted was to kill their friendship, she would have preferred to have him as her best friend, well her best friend out of the trio, and well she didn’t want to lose him. Plus she knew how protective he was of his younger sister, if they started dating would he feel the need to choose? The last thing she wanted was to come before family, she herself knew that she’d always chose her family above all things. She bit on the inside of her cheek, as she waited for him to say something. She turned her attention back to the lake, in hopes that this conversation could somewhat dissolve she didn’t want to think of the scary consequences some words could have. She just wanted to get back to the joking around, and she knew it was because she was afraid. She was afraid about how she felt about him because it was a foreign concept to her. This whole situation was a foreign concept to her and she didn’t like the possibilities for failure that could present themselves willingly.
He spoke again and she turned back to him, he locked his fingers with her own and she found herself staring down at them. The butterflies in her stomach went double time at this, it was not rational for her to react this way. Steve was her friend, having these feelings was a bad idea because it could lead to dangerous places. The last thing she wanted was to lose her friend over something like this, but she liked him. She knew she liked him as more than a friend, it was why she reacted the way she did whenever he got closer to her than she was used to. If she asked anyone, they’d say it was a sure sign that she liked him as way more than a friend and that concept alone scared her. Still she didn’t want to illustrate how nervous she felt over it, so she gave his hand a light squeeze. She need to remain calm, and she needed to act like her heart wasn’t about to jump out of her chest. She just needed to focus on breathing normally and just smiling at him. His teasing nature returned at his last comment, there was the Steve she knew. The guy that she had inadvertently fell for because he was helping her so much, she knew it tended to happen when you spent a lot of time with another person. You either became the best of friends, or other feelings started to develop, and well it had gone both ways for her. He released her hand and she let it fall back on her lap, as if her hand wasn’t tingling from the brief contact. This was silly she just need to stop acting like a girl with a crush and she needed to get back to regular Layla who had never had a real crush before in her life.
“I never forget what you tell me, even if you do say some silly things sometimes” she said, “Everything you say to me is important”

]justify]Steve wanted nothing more than to just freeze this moment in time, but he was seriously considering what could have made hell freeze over for a moment when she said those words. Watching her lips move in slow-motion and had to weigh them heavily in his hearts, if what she was saying was true then he realized she probably cared more about him than he realized. Foolish boy, why couldn't you speak up sooner or at least have the courage to ask her out. Even if the masquerade ball was coming up, there won't be another chance, and you know fully well she may get someone else that won't even like her for who she is. Might as well prove to her what you mean, but she is just brushing you off as if you're joking, FOOL.
Steve shook his head, and was ready to strangle himself at his inner turmoil and wanted to slap the other ego he had. There was nothing worse than arguing with yourself with someone else in front of you, but he made no show of it outwardly as his eyes met hers calmly. Looking over at the many ingredients lying all over the place, but he would go to hell for her and slay the devil himself. It was just his inspiration for what he did was all. Such a soothing relief to hear that she would stay with him, but he seriously knew that this was crossing a line somewhere. Sweat beaded at his forehead as his thoughts took on a heavier toll, what if he did anything crazy with her and got her PREGNANT? Oh my god, slap yourself now, you blundering gallow-headed buffoon.
In this case he was half-tempted to as his hand raised up almost finishing the gesture, but instead he just set it back down. Looking over at Layla as he contemplated what to say to her, and then he wondered what would happen if he just kissed her without saying anything else. Muttering a little more frustrated than normal, but he soon smiled warmly hiding his inner feelings now. This was how he handled stuff like this, but his forehead seemed to have stopped sweating. Curiously glancing over at Layla every now and then, "You are right though, this is so serene, and one of my favorite places to come after classes, or even during my days when I have nothing better to do. Although preferably without many potion ingredients littering the floor," he said to her chuckling slightly gesturing to the many ingredients still littered about.
Surely that would have been an offense to the potions teacher.

She was unsure if she had said the right thing or not, she was just afraid of what it would mean if she ever did admit to him that she had feelings for him. She was fine being perfectly ignorant, if you could really be ignorant when you knew your feelings for another person were more than those of friendship, but still she wanted to pretend to be ignorant. It would make her avoid problems that she wasn’t ready to face. Steve was her closest friend next to Jayce and Molly if she lost him it was like she would lose an important part of her family. If she was honest with herself, she was more brave when it came to certain things, but in the love department she really was kind of a coward. It wasn’t like she was a beauty of vast knowledge when it came to love, she was pretty average and really couldn’t fathom the idea of anyone wanting her in that manner. Either way she hated the feeling that she had said something wrong, she didn’t want to be that way around him. He was her friend, and she wasn’t used to choosing her words carefully around him, but right now she felt the need to. Darn these feelings, and their messing with her natural instincts. She noticed he was quiet, which worried her.
“Steve are you okay?” She asked.
He seemed to relax then and she wondered if she had spoken too soon. He smiled at her and then commented on the beautiful view, which she was right to say that it was nice. Of course just being by the lake was peaceful to her, she had often spent hours in front of the lake just looking out at it, thinking about what her parents could be doing. She didn’t really correspond with them as much as she wished, one of the downfalls of the magical world was that technology didn’t work so well with it. Either way she allowed herself to get lost in the view sometimes, though right now she was feeling kind of nervous. Probably from just how different some things had been this time around, normally she and Steve did flirt a little but it was just innocent little things. She never even realized what she was doing until later on when she started to think about that. Because if you honestly asked Layla she was a dreadful flirt and couldn’t even charm a rock. Either way she gave him a smile, as she turned her attention back to the lake, before wondering if they should clear out. Even though she wasn’t ready to go back inside, dinner would be starting soon and she did need to get all her stuff back in the tower before then. But she was happy where she was, oh the pains of being lazy at the moment. Deciding it would be best to just head back inside she turned her attention back to Steve.
“As much as I don’t want to, I think we should head back in” she said, [color=1589FF“Dinner is starting soon and I need to get some books back into my dorm before then”

Steve was already starting to gather up the many potions ingredients scattered about the ground including the vial he had drank out of that was still slightly effecting him. Although, surely peace wasn't the best cure for him since he was already peaceful to begin with, and the sense of security he felt with Layla was returning ten-fold. Although, if she had made versitaserum he would have had to actually decide how he was going to keep his own wits about him. Starting to gather up the stuff as he noticed how much it had to stop lying out in the sun, and then he put in the cauldron he had brought it down in. Easily fitting most of the ingredients in it, and the ones they used made it look a little strange with how much lower it had gotten.
Chuckling softy for a moment, he soon started to look up towards Layla as he smiled warmly towards her, glad he had another bonding moment with her, but he had truly hoped to get more out of this. Even tempted to kiss her right there again, just to feel his lips against her own, and one day he would. At least that was his plan right now, but he kept himself organized while nodding to her. [colo=green]"Yes, of course, well we'll meet up again sometime I'm sure of it. Talk to you later Layla, always a pleasure hanging out with you. Dress as beautiful as you always do and I may just kiss you,"
he said to her. Blushing incredibly deep as he realized what he just said. Suddenly walking away beet red, and not wanting to face her after that as he walked away into the castle with the ingredients..forgetting his wand though. As he had left it, but he was in a hurry and was out of sight before she could return his wand right away...he'd figure it out sooner or later.[/blockquote][/blockquote] Notes: And that ends this thread.
