Word, over the last few days, had spread very quickly. What did this word involve? Well, there were short whisperings about Halloween associated with such names like Tristen and Demetrius, known by some in a single word -- Demen. Yes, they were that noteworthy. The two boys' friendship had managed to survive seven years at Hogwarts an opposing houses. They weren't just friends. They were more like brothers, their friendship having started long before they set foot in Hogwarts.
And this was not the first party their names had been associated with either. Tristen and Demetrius were no strangers to a good time. It was necessary to their existence as young hormonal male beings. They needed food to grow their muscles. They needed girls to satisfy their urges. And they needed parties to...to recover from the next day. Okay, that makes no sense. But there was no reason why these boys needed to party. They just did it because they wanted to live life to the fullest.
Of course, girls and firewhiskey was a plus. No, there would definitely be a lack of pin the tail on the donkey, or whatever wizarding game was equivalent, at this party. It was a bit exclusive. Invitations hadn't been put out, but word on the street was that only 6th and 7th year students could get in. Neither boy really discriminated against house, so that wasn't restricted. Anyone was welcome as long as they were 6th and 7th year students. Crashers would not be tolerated. In fact, they wouldn't even be able to enter as the party was being held in the Room of Requirement.
It wouldn't appear for anyone that Demen didn't imagine partaking in the party. And they most certainly did not picture their little sisters participating in the party. No, they couldn't party to their fullest with the young ones around. Though, Tristen did get along particularly well with his sister and even more so with Ainsley's friend Roxanne. But, that wasn't important...
Halloween Party. Restricted to 6th and 7th years. Food. Games. Firewhiskey.
Yes, the last part was most important. Maybe that is why people ate so much at dinner. It wasn't right to drink on an empty stomach as they say. Now, Demen were ones to always bring the party with them to other parties, so they fully expected those who really wanted to drink to bring their own stashes from in their trunks or under their mattresses. But, as a precaution, they had made sure there was a keg full of firewhiskey. The stuff was potent so it could go a long way compared to any muggle alcohol.
Oh and another important part to the rumors being spread about the party, a part one could not leave out? --
COSTUMES.
Yes, it was a costume party. Tristen was dressed as a sleepy student. Hm? Well, it was an excuse for him to wear very little clothing, just in a pair of scarlet and gold striped boxers and scarlet slippers. He was just that brave...or just that cocky. A grin formed on his face as he sat back on a couch inside the room of requirement, sipping on a mug of firewhiskey. The mug compliments his costume, of course.
"I've a feeling this is going to be an amaaaazing night, mate," he stated in the direction of Demetrius as they waited for guests to arrive.
The setup was simple. Music was playing, the kind people could dance to if they wanted. On the back wall was a table of food suitable for a party (chips and the like) along with the keg of firewhiskey. Their were couches, chairs, and tables on either side of the room and the floor was left open for dancing or general standing around. "You think we've thought up everything we need then?"
Note: Please allow Steph to post for Demetrius before replying. Thanks!! Oh..and Enjoy!!

Demetrius was ready for this. Nay, he was BORN ready for this party. He and Tristen were known to throw the best parties. If a party of yours sucked, all Demen had to do was set foot in it, stay for a minute and your party was a success! Maybe it was the fact that they were both freaking hot.. er.. I mean, manly guys. Or maybe it was the fact that pure awesomeness exuded from them. Either way, this Halloween party was going to be EPIC. Needless to say, Demen had planned this party the minute their hang overs passed the previous year. It had been great, but then Demetrius realized. Hey, Tristen, we're so cool and all. But, dude, now we have to make an even bigger party next year. We have to go off with a bang!
So it was decided, the Room of Requirement would double its size from last year. The music would be louder, the food table would be bigger and the costumes would be skimpier! Yes, that's one of the main reasons why Demen threw these parties. It was the reason many guys showed up to the party, costumes were required and girls just loved to wear next to nothing on Halloween.
Demetrius, himself, was fond of wearing costumes. Last year he had shown up as a chiseled gladiator, the girls loved it. He wore one of those gladiator kilts and not much else, so he could show off how much he had worked out that year. This year, he would let Tristen do the showing off. It was their last big Halloween party, as the two would graduate in a few months, and Dem wanted to just chill out for a minute. He was sure girls would be all over him, even if he wasn't half naked. So he had one last costume in mind.
All he really needed was already in his trunk on the foot of his bed. He just borrowed Triten's tie, bought a pair of glasses during the last Hogsmeade trip and grabbed a marker. Dem was going as... Harry Potter! He was pleased with the final result and he wasn't sure what the hell James Potter would say or do, if he even showed up this night. It didn't matter, Demetrius would probably buzzed enough to not care if it bother James Potter that he was dressed as his father. James didn't own him, so he could just go s-... jump off a tower. I'll keep things PG-13. He couldn't guarentee, however, that things at the party would be kept at appropriate audience rating, so he was very much glad that they had decided that only sixth and seventh years would be allowed in.
Ainsley and Gisele weren't going to be running around or getting drunk, it was just unacceptable! They were too young, according to Dem. But like Tristen, Dem had had a very... interesting relationship with a fifth year, though Delilah Rookwood seemed to have disappeared from his life lately. Oh, well, Dem regretted not getting to know her better but he wasn't going to sulk around in the Slytherin common room over something that never was. No, he was going to party!
The setting was... set, the music was on and the two hosts were already drinking. Demetrius sat himself across from Tristen, on his own couch and stretched his legs, the cup in his hand tilted so he could take a big gulp from it. He let the slight burning sensation of the firewhiskey go down his throat and he grinned at the other boy man.
“All we really need is for everyone to stop stuffing their faces and get up here.” He looked at his cup, noticing it was empty and he turned it upside down, half-hoping to see liquid there. With a shrug he turned his attention back to Tristen, so he could see the smirk on his face. “Mate, do you think Potter will have an issue with my costume?”

Party? Yeah, she’s in. Demetrius had told her about the Halloween party earlier this month, and Breanna is not one to miss out on such an event. After all, a party that is NOT held by the school is going to be way more fun than the ones that are. For example… the house parties after the Goblet of Fire ceremony. The champions started it, the headmaster knew about it, and there was no rule breaking involved. It was fun, of course, but today, the one Demetrius and Tristen will throw – it’s restricted to sixth and seventh years, and Bre could tell that there will be rule-breaking involved today. In fact the students attending the party will probably be breaking a million rules… the word is that there will be drinking at the party, plus… are Hogwarts students even allowed to throw parties?
BUT WHO CARES?! Even though Breanna was a prefect, it didn’t matter. The party will be held in the Room of Requirement; it’s not like they’re going to get caught. And if they did… well Bre will find some way to get out of that, but they won’t. Demetrius and Tristen are great a throwing parties, they’ve done it tons of times, each time Breanna attended, and each time it was loads of fun. Unlike the other prefects - who tends to put a stop on the fun and rule breaking – Bre considers herself to be wild. And she loves to have fun. That means that no way is she missing this year’s Halloween party; even though they will be breaking tons of rules. Really, Breanna doesn’t care. In fact she’s probably one of the most irresponsible prefects ever!
As for her costume, Bre is going as a sexy devil. It’s not even dress code appropriate. What’s the fun of a costume party if you don’t break the school dress code huh? Well anyways. The Slytherin girl was wearing a short black and red dress – Bre knew that, if her parents were to see her now… well, they would be horrified at the length of the skirt. She was also wearing black heels, and a headband with horns… to top it all off she also has a tail! While walking to the seventh floor, Bre wore her school robes… she’s not going to risk getting in trouble for wearing such a costume even before she gets to the party. Anyways… she was excited.
She arrived at the Room of Requirements, and walked in… the party haven’t started yet, Bre knows that of course. Everybody else was still busy stuffing their faces at the Halloween feast. She greeted the two boys, “Hey guys,” she said, as she walked in, giving both guys a smile. “Are you supposed to be Harry Potter?” she asked Demetrius, laughing. In fact, his costume was the first thing that she noticed walking in.

She wanted to do something interesting and well different from what she usually did. As she ascended the stairs towards the common room she remembered hearing that there was to be a party for sixth and seventh years in the room of requirement. Now that was something that could be fun or bad. She could not figure out which one yet. She entered the Gryffindor common room to see if she still had one of her Halloween costumes in her trunk.
She smiled as she found the costume. It was not something she would be seen wearing since it showed a lot of skin. The sides were laced up and the leather like material still fit her like a glove. She slipped a cloak over the outfit before quickly heading out of the common room. She wasn't sure what to expect from the party coming up but there was no way of knowing till she went. This would be her first non school related party. Yes there was the Champions party that she helped put together but that was different. There were no rule breaking, nor was there any real parting. Most were kind of down because of the attack and everything.
Alaya walked to the room of requirement and took a deep breath before entering. She was not overly surprised to see that there were only a couple of people there at the moment. She kept the floor length cloak covering herself up. She was still unsure about the costume she was wearing. Honestly she wasn't sure that she was staying but she decided to wait and see who else would show up. Depending on who would arrive, would determine her likely hood of staying.

As Val finished dinner she heard whispers of a party up in the room of requirement, for sixth and seventh years. She had heard about it a week or two ago but frankly she did not know if anyone was really going to go through with it. Then she heard that Abercrombie and Demen were throwing it. She knew then it was a party that was worth attending. Valerie had never been drunk but buzzed seemed to be enough for her to loosen up at a party. She knew that this party would be very fun as Abercrombie and Demen tended to have firewhiskey, her favorite drink. She walked up to the room of requirement. She walked into the seventh floor corridor. She then looked down she was in her Hogwart's uniform still. Dressing up like a Hogwarts student... real original. She quickly waved her wand and donned a Cleopatra costume that she really enjoyed. She was ready to get down and have a great night. She knew her elder sister would join her shortly as the two were rarely if ever apart.
She walked into the room of requirement. Not very many people were around and she realized that she had gotten here fairly early. 'Oh well more time to party.' She figured to herself. She saw the two planners and that Abercrombie was in just a pair of boxers. She snickered. Tonight was going to be good. She was happy she had put a but of powder on face as she could feel herself blush as she walked in. She saw a Slytherin girl from her year, Bre, had already been there. She quickly walked to the refreshment table and got herself a goblet of firewhiskey and downed it. She then walked over to Bre and smiled. "Great party huh?" she snickered again, although she knew that it was not quite happening yet, it would probably be one of the better parties this year. She felt the firewhiskey take some affect and she started bouncing slightly to the music. She was going to make a point to dance the night away with whomever wanted to. She was thankful that she did not have the house discrimination some Slytherins as it really opened her doors to all the men of Hogwarts. Oh yeah this was going to be a great night! Costume

When Aubrey had heard word about the after Halloween feast party, well she was definitely excited. She had even decided to make her own Halloween costume and what exactly had Aubrey planned to go as? Well as a Sailor Scout of course! Yes, not many of the witches and wizards would know what a Sailor Scout is (unless of course they happen to have an obsession with muggle anime or they were a muggleborn) but that didn’t matter, because Aubrey knew that she looked cute in her outfit, perhaps a bit more than cute. She wondered if Scorpius was going to show up to the party as well, and if he did, what he would think of her costume. She really did hope that he showed up as Aubrey missed being around him. It just seemed that ever since the champions were announced he had been spending more time than usual with Theresa Kelsey. Yes she understood that they need to work together, but there’s the fact that Aubrey was a girl and she wanted time with her own boyfriend. However, Aubrey wasn’t going to dress up as a particular sailor scout, no she was going as an original.
She was looking at herself in the mirror in the Gryffindor Sixth Year Girls Dormitory to make sure everything was perfect. Her short indigo skirt that went to just above her mid-thigh and she had green trimming on it. She wore the normal white sailor top with the same colored piece that matched her skirt and on the front she had a green bow with a Silver Libra Pendant on the front. That’s right she was creating her own sailor scout and going as Sailor Libra, her astrological star sign. She also wore earrings that were of silver Libra signs and she wore a tiara similar to that of Sailor Moons, except instead of gold it was silver and she had a sapphire in the middle of it, the star stone for Libra. Her hair was pulled back into a super cute messy bun and she wore long boots that almost went to her knees. They were blue with green string tied up along the outside of them. Yep Aubrey felt that her costume was perfect for her, and she couldn’t wait to see what everyone else thought of it. Satisfied with how she looked she skipped on out of the Gryffindor common room and off to the seventh floor where the Room of Requirement was located and the party was being held.
“Mate, do you think Potter will have an issue with my costume?” Aubrey had arrived just as she heard Demetrius asking Tristen about his costume, and she was pretty much walking in right behind a couple of others that were headed in. She was about to say something about his costume but closed her mouth when she heard a Slytherin girl say something. “Are you supposed to be Harry Potter?” Aubrey wanted to roll her eyes, did the girl really not figure that out right away? But she kept a smile on her face, she didn’t want to try to annoy anyone that night, but of course some may be shocked that a prefect even showed up in the first place. Yes even though Aubrey was a prefect she would still break rules once in a while too, especially if it involved a good party. But in case something got out of hand, like a huge fight or something, Aubrey had her prefect badge on her to remind them that she could turn them in, not that she really would seeing as it would mean exposing the fact that she was there as well. And of course the chances of gaining Head Girl Status next year. No she would just pretend that she was willing to turn herself in.
“Depends on which Potter you talk to. James might find it funny, Lily might comment on what you could’ve done to improve, Albus would ignore you, Mr. Potter would find it amusing as well as Mrs. Potter,” she smiled at Demetrius it was always nice to be close with all of the Potters and Weasleys, she didn’t care what anyone else thought of that. “But I can tell you that I think it looks great! And great decorations guys,” she smiled while she swung her bag that she happened to be carried off and went over to the counter. She loved knowing secret passageways in the school and seeing as she wasn’t one to like Firewhiskey, she brought her own bit of an Alcohol. And now that she was seventeen (as of about two weeks ago) she could sneak out to Hogsmeade and do magic without getting traced. She pulled out a small keg and tapped lightly on it to make it bigger. Yes Aubrey had brought butterbeer, no this wasn’t your usual butterbeer as it was spiked with Alcohol, her favorite. “I brought a keg of alcoholic Butterbeer for anyone that wants some,” she said once she sat her bag to the side and then began to pour herself a glass of butterbeer.
( Just so you all know. Aubrey is not wearing her prefect badge. She has it tucked hidden away safely in her bag. So don't comment on her wearing a badge as she isn't. )

Before his best mate could even ask about his costume, girl after girl after girl..after girl walked in! Now that was what Tristen was talking about. A party wasn't a party if it was just guys. Well, it was..especially if Tristen and Dem were included but it wasn't the type of party Tristen was interested in tonight. No, he wouldn't have helped spring for the keg if it was just a bunch of guys. He didn't want to bro out. He wanted to ho out...That is, ho himself out. Yeah, Tristen Abercrombie was just a biiiiit of a man-wh*re and 1/2 of the girls that walked into the room qualified as his type.
It was only a moment after Breanna Chamberlain walked in that he made his way over to the keg, pouring a full glass of firewhiskey into a red solo cup (because what would a party be without one?) and made his way over to her. He noted her school robes with a raised eyebrow and then the horns upon her head with a pleased smirk. He sipped his firewhiskey from his mug, offering her the cup he had poured for her simultaneously. "And what do we have here Ms. Prefect Chamberlain? A little devil in disguise?" He looked to Dem and then back to Bre, still smirking as Valerie Greyback caught his eye coming back from the keg.
"Great party huh?"
He just smiled a typical Tristen grin as Bre inquired about Demetrius's costume. He laughed as he looked to his two housemates, realizing the numbers were evenly divided to far with 3 Slytherin and 3 Gryffindor. Of course, the ladies outnumbered the men but not really. Out of the girls, the two Slytherins were most his type and no doubt Demetrius's as well. As for his housemates, one was off limits and the other was not his type though Tristen pretty much considered himself the type to get along with anyone even if he wasn't looking to..well, you know.
“Are you supposed to be Harry Potter?”
He just looked at Aubrey as she spoke, listing the potters and what the Potters would think of Dem's choice of costume, same old Aubrey. Tristen just kind of shook his head and smirked, looking at Demetrius having not answered due to Aubrey's insertion.
“I brought a keg of alcoholic Butterbeer for anyone that wants some.”
"Quite thoughtful of you dearest prefect miss," he said over his shoulder to her one eyebrow raised and an amused look on his face in a "who knew" type of expression.

Word of the party had spread quickly and at first Rose had no intention of going. Still Aubrey had been excited about the party and somehow Rose had decided to go. Of course now she didn't know what to dress up as. Still there were still shops that did owl orders so Rose had sent off a letter asking the shop owner to send anything they still had left in her size. Rose should have known that it was bound to go wrong. When she received the package she had put in her trunk to be forgotten until it was time for the party. The party was planned for after the Halloween feast in the great hall and Rose stayed for a little bit of the feast before heading back up to the tower to get ready for the party. She had hoped that Aubrey would be waiting but the dorms were empty, most people still at the feast or already gone on to the party. Digging through her trunk she pulled out the package and opened it for the first time. Inside was a white dress, a halo, and a pair of wings. An angel perfect. It wasn't until she slipped on the white dress and looked into the mirror that she saw why she should have looked at the dress earlier. It was the shortest dress she had ever seen. Having already promised she would go to the party there was nothing left to do except finish getting ready and go to the party. Maybe no one would notice her outfit and she could sort of blend in. And hopefully no one would have a camera, the last thing she needed was proof. Attaching her wings and halo she glanced down over the stairs to the common room before hurrying through. The party was only a couple of floors down from her tower and the corridors were pretty empty. In no time at all she was where the party was to be. Taking a breath she entered and saw only a few people already here. So much for blending in. “I brought a keg of alcoholic Butterbeer for anyone that wants some,” Aubrey was a prefect but she was also seventeen so Rose didn't say anything. And she wasn't going to tell on her best friend. Rose thought carefully about whether to take some, she doubted anyone here but Aubrey knew she wasn't seventeen yet so she took a glass of the alcoholoic butterbeer Aubrey had brought. "Nice costume Aubrey."outfit; clicky

Valerie smiled. It was clear this was the place to be. She recognized a Gryffindor from her year. "Thanks McNeal." She smirked. Valerie had never really talked to her but the thing about Hogwarts was generally, you knew your year somewhat as they had many classes together in the first five years. Also, Valerie had some issues sometimes with prefects and running into trouble. She was thrilled to see some more butterbeer come to the party. She made a note to go back to the table later to get some. She saw that Demen and Abercrombie were the only males in the room of requirement. She had heard the stories of Tristen Abercrombie and frankly she was not too impressed. Valerie, however, credited her sister for making her into a bit of a well, as some put it, a tease. However Val credits the fact she has dreams and boys just tended to slow her down if they got too complicated, which the type like Christian tended to be complicated on the girl's end of things. She knew to stay far away or to tell him to stay far away. Tonight, though, she was going to party and she was going to have fun, within control.
She smiled at Abercrombie and Demen "You guys know it was really awesome of you to throw this party." She smiled "And I am finally old enough to stop crashing." She joked. It was true Valerie was just finally old enough to come to one of the legendary parties, but she had certianly never crashed one. She was mainly waiting for more people to show up. "You know what would be really cool?" She started. She thought to herself for a second "If you had parties randomly, just some ordinary Friday or Saturday, and only invite the coolest of the cool." She smirked slightly "No house injustice of course." She stipulated. "Seriously, did Shaklebolt go into another speech or something?" She asked the rhetoric question rolling her eyes. She waited for more people to show up. She couldn't wait until so many people showed up that the dance floor turned into a mosh pit and people could barely move. She then walked to the refreshment table and grabbed a chocolate frog, her favorite and checked out the card. It was Harry Potter, the boy who lived, "Here Demetrius, stunning likeness don't you think." Val laughed slightly.

theia tilted her head slightly as she gazed into her reflection, frowning as she pulled at this one curl that wouldn't lie right. in the end she gave up, running her fingers through the light tumbling curls and fluffing it slightly. she was planning on attending that after-feast party. the feast had been a little dissapointing, a little boring but then again when you attended it every year and it was hardly a party well..it wasn't going to be interesting was it? so yes, she'd thought that perhaps she could head over to that after-party she'd been told about, and hope to god that someone made it interest.
applying just a small layer of mascara, she ran her fingers over the fabric of her dress. theia hadn't been sure what to dress as, and in the end she'd chosen vampire. as most of those she'd heard about came from years ago, she'd taken it upon herself to wear a victorian style dress, and she grabbed the plastic fangs, fixing them into her mouth and grinning. done. easy.
she smirked and grabbed a handful of the full skirt before descending the steps into the common room. she had no idea who else was going and so she didn't pause to wait and see, instead she headed along to the seventh floor, where she proceeded to enter the room of requirement. there were not a great amount of people as of yet and she hoped more would arrive at some time, but for now it seemed alright. she gazed upon the room with chocolate orbs, indulging in a charming grin and flashing her fangs before sauntering properly into the room a little away from the door and looking about casually with vauge interest.

Of course Albus had heard about the party through the grapevine of the students. He of course had planned to attend the party, the feast was great and all, but it was pretty much the same every year. He decided that he would have a change in pace and go to this party that was hosted by Demetrius and Tristen. Now Al had to make sure that he had a costume for this party as he knew one was required in order to enter the party. But what would he even go as, he wasn’t one to dress up in the first place and now he had to. He had gone through some catalogs to try and figure out what to choose from. He knew that Theia was going as a vampire and he didn’t want to as he didn’t want people to think that the two of them were together because they were coordinating. But for some reason in the back of his mind he wanted to coordinate with Theia, of course he had managed to shake that thought from his mind and had chosen a simple pirate outfit.
He wasn’t going to look like one of those dirty pirates; no instead he had chosen a nice white sweater, blue jeans with an anchor ornament hanging from a belt buckle and a bandana. Yep, a simple clean pirate, and he thought he looked rather good, even if he didn’t say it out loud. But he was looking himself over in the mirror once more before he decided to head on up to the room of requirement. He remembered his father once telling him that few people knew about the room of requirement, but it seemed that was only back in his father’s day as now almost everyone in the school knew about it. It wasn’t that much of a secret anymore it seemed.
It hadn’t taken Al long to get up to the Room of Requirement as he was never one to take long in the first place. He entered the room shortly after his friend Theresa but the first person he saw was Demetrius dressed up as his father. Al glared at Demetrius for a moment before turning away and heading over to the two kegs that were sat up, one of them labeled as Alcoholic Butterbeer, oh Aubrey must have brought that one. He knew that was what she liked, so he took out two mugs poured himself a glass as well as Theia before heading over to her. “You look rather good in that vampire costume of yours,” he flashed her a smile as he handed her a mug of the Butterbeer. “Did you see that Demetrius dressed up as my father,” had kept his voice down as he rolled his eyes.

When Maharet had heard the word party excitement rose in her. Everyone had the luxury of acting differently at parties, blame it on the alcohol or the high level of raging teenage hormones, but it gave her a break from the constant good girl façade of hers and she could just let her inner bitch out. It was a liberating feeling and the notion of it had her giddy all through the day. Luckily the lovely hosts had announced it early enough for Maggie to fashion herself a costume, if one could call the outfit that Maharet chose actually clothing. It was more a few pieces of cloth and lace put together to hide her extremities. Everything else was completely exposed for the fellas viewing pleasure. After all what was the point in working so hard to keep her figure if she couldn’t show it off every now and then.
The feast hadn’t been what was keeping Maggie from an early entrance. It was the fact that no one wanted to be the first to arrive and she wasn’t any exception to that. However, she was positive that Demetrius and Tristen wouldn’t disappoint. After all they were known for that sort of thing. As for herself, Maharet was more known as the sweet little Ravenclaw by day, but when it came to parties she could be a real wild child. She let completely loose without any reservations of coming across as slutty or mean, or any other negative comment that one might have to say about her. A party was just that, a place to actually party, not stand around chatting, which could be done any old time.
For good measure, before exiting her dorm room, Maggie shrouded herself in a black peacoat that went down to her knees. There was no reason to give everyone in the common room and corridors a reason to gawk and spoil the surprise for those actually attending the party. The heels of her knee high boot clicked against the stone floor as she made her way to the Room of Requirement trying not to drop the box of tequila and vodka on the floor while hoping that she had stalled long enough not to be one of the first ones there. Seeing a few familiar faces Maharet placed an absent sort of smile on her lips, juggled the box to shrug out of her coat, which she threw on one of the couches, then headed over to where the others were seemingly standing by the beverages. “Hello loves.” Maggie greeted playfully surveying both the boys and girls. “Make yourself useful, Demetrius and help me with this box will you?” The request was more of a demand as she pushed the heavy thing up against his chest and took a bottle of Tequila out to start slugging on. Maggie didn’t fancy Firewhiskey, which had been why she brought along a few bottles of her two favourite alcohols. She skillfully twisted the cap off with one hand, still holding onto the box with the other to make sure Demetrius didn’t drop it, let the cap drop to the floor and took a healthy swallow of the Tequila. outfit;

A Halloween party, well after feast party. It sounded promising and although he was a prefect, there was no way he was going to pass up an opportunity to party. Heading straight down to the slytherin dorms where he grabbed his costume and cloak before heading to the prefects bathroom for a quick bath. He had plenty of time, he thought.
The armor fit snuggly against his body as a red cape draped over his back. His Thor costume wasn't complete without the helmet and hammer which sat next to his cloak. Throwing the cloak over his costume, he quickly headed up to the room of requirements.
He took the cloak off and put the helmet on before he walked in. Would anyone actually believe he had gone something as...daring as this. Well those who knew him wouldn't be surprised. Setting the cloak down, he scanned the room. There were many good costumes there.
So which was was Al or Theia or even Aubrey. He blinked at a girl that wore a short skirt and what resembled a sailors outfit. He knew instantly it was Aubrey, only she'd think of going as something most people wouldn't know of.
He walked up to her, admiring the back of her. Whatever she was, the costume was cute. He curled her waist with his arms from behind, still holding the hammer as he pulled her against his chest. "I think I speak for most people but what is this ridiculous yet cute costume of yours meant to be?" he asked her before looking up and greeting those that were nearby.

as the door opened, theia glanced toward it, altomatically a smile flickered across her face as she recognised albus beneath the bandana, not sure if he'd been going and what as. as he headed her way with two drinks, she took it greatfully and caught his words. “You look rather good in that vampire costume of yours,” she didn't know why she she blushed as he said that, inclining her head and indulging him with a grin that showed the plastic fangs. "thanks, careful i might think you're a willing volunteer." she joked, meaning about the whole 'vampires suck blood' thing. "you make a rather good pirate." she said with a grin, unable to help but admire him a little in that look ... what? she could look couldn't she? discreetly...
she sipped the beer lightly, finding it a little difficult with the fangs in the way but she wasn't going to let that stop her. this was a party after all - no fun if you couldn't drink! “Did you see that Demetrius dressed up as my father,” she heard albus say and she turned her head toward him with a tilt of her head and a small nod. she rolled her chocolate orbs and raised an eyebrow. "and if i daresay it's not a very good likeness either." she said gently, flashing him a small smile to try and make him feel a bit better - it must have annoyed albus at least a little.
she caught a glimpse of someone dressed as .. what was that guy called.. thor? something like that..and she grinned slightly and shook her head - able to recognise it a scorpius and watching him head over to aubrey. theia sipped her drink again and looked at albus. "soooo .. great party.." she joked lightly. well it wasn't that bad but, well, it wasn't that exciting - nothing like the rumours that had built it up. but then again, it had only just started. who knew what was going to go down tonight.

lyra grinned as she fluffed up her long golden locks for the third time, increasing it volume with a dash of more hairspray and checking out her reflection. she wore a white dress that she's systematically ripped in a couple of places on purpose - the dress itself falling right down to the floor, an immitation of a wedding dress. she'd added more eyeliner than usual and paled her face with make-up, but rather than look terrible she didn't think she looked that bad.
she hadn't been sure who to go as really when she'd heard of the rumours of this 'magnificent' party, but she had wanted to go. the thing was, she'd wanted to bring will but it had technically it was exclusive for 6th and 7th years. but hey, lyra wasn't one to listen to other people - she was breaking will into this party fifth year or not. so she'd asked him what he'd go as, and when he said 'frankenstein' she'd come back with 'frankensteins' wife' ..easy as pie.
grinning, lyra headed down to the common room, having told will to meet her there later than everyone else would be going. they really would need to sneak in, she had heard that they would be strict about anyone trying to get in below sixth year. but hey, lyra was getting her boyfriend into the thing whether they liked it or not. she was a well liked, quite respected seventh year..she was quidditch team captain! people couldn't turn her away .. and besides, she'd prank their ass if they did in retaliation. perhaps that was going too far but hey, one fifth year could not hurt! lyra smiled lightly as she waited for will to turn up, her gaze on the staircase to the boys dormitaries.

Stuffy, why is it always stuffy in these things? Can't I get a hyper-ventilating mask to help me out? Even a huge oxygen breather would be nice. Were the thoughts of the fifth year Hufflepuff known as Wilford Hayward, enter the prefect zone. Now, he had been told of a party by Lyra, and what better way to catch them all int he act. Sure, there would be other prefects there, but it didn't matter, Will had Lyra with him. Not that he planned to crash it, oh no, this time he was going to be part of the party and one with his zen of partiness. Oh yes, he had planned it all out to the tea, the costume, who Lyra would go as. Of course, it was pre-meditated.
Not that they were planning murder mind you, but it sure looked like someone had done numerous operations on Will's head as he had a frankenstein mask on with that dreaded bolt through it. Eyes peering out through it, and he hoped no one would recognize his sky-blue eyes. After all, those were a rather striking feature, even for a fifth year that was just wanting to get into a party where he knew there would be alcoholic beverages. The only way this plot would be folly was if Lyra took off his mask to kiss him. Yet, there was a mouth piece for that, and he'd have to actually talk like the brutish monster he had seen in muggle movies.
Sure they had been old, but classics like "YoungFrankenstein," and all that had given him ideas. Surely not as amusing as the movie itself, but soon he had tugged on a coat that covered his upper torso, looking like a regular brown jacket, with buttons on it. Some nice black dress pants, and some dress shoes to give him that suave look despite being stitched together from hot dogs. Oh, he meant body parts, as he soon looked at himself in the mirror, admiring his suave form. There was some fake blood dripping from his arms as he had used face paint on his arms to make it look like they were stitched together, using green body paint for the rest of it.
It was a well-designed costume that he had made himself in less than an hour to prepare for the party as he came down the stares to confront Lyra, and perhaps attempt scaring her too. Finally he examined her costume and then said to her, "Let's go and crash this party," he said teasingly.

Post by JAMES SIRIUS POTTER on Jun 27, 2011 19:41:22 GMT -6
Would anybody recognize this hideous beast walking into the room, well he was a handsome beast looking for a damsel in distress. Surely, he'd find one here that would praise his god-like costume, and all of it's notorious manliness. Oh yes, he was thriving with hormones, dedicated to the cause of mating in the wolf's name, or that was just James's silly train of thought to give him that paradox of an ego. Surely someone would catch on to who it was, but he doubted as he didn't tell anyone what he was going as, most people who asked he just turned a blind eye to them. It was a surprise, he didn't want anyone knowing it was him, and if they tried to guess they'd just end up getting a growl in response.
Surely, someone would find that annoying eventually until it would force him to take off his costume's hat, as it would get stuffy in there eventually. Even if it was like being put into an oven at 500 degrees farenheit, there was no excuse for this party to be lame. Carrying in another keg of fire whiskey after him, having to use all the secrets he knew possible via the Marauder's map, which by the way could have helped him out in the so-called attack. This was also another way to figure out if anyone else was behind the attacks.
Yes, the Potters could be a troublesome bunch, and he was indeed going to make it a point just how troublesome he could be. Stampeding into the party room he let out a fierce howl that would shake the entire foundation, but he stopped himself. There was no call for acting like an actual wolf, as he had stopped himself before getting to carried away. The howl echoed out, and then he put the keg up beside all the other ones, showing up most of them. "I'm sorry, this isn't a party just yet, you didn't invite ME, awesome costume by the way," he said gesturing a clawed hand towards Demetrius.
Wearing a wolf's head, the eyes easily maneuverable so he could see out them and a hole for his mouth. Most could tell that arrogance was none other than James Potter and the voice too. He noticed that Theresa was here, best to avoid her for today. Not wanting to get into any pissing matches, although he had apologized at the Quidditch match earlier, for saying he was wrong. How on Earth could anyone miss that, but he doubted that Theresa was willing to forgive anytime soon even as he had regained control of his anger. "So, who wants some fire whiskey? Not that you probably need anymore!?" he shouted out.
Quite the rambuxious one and he was only wearing tattered clothes with holes in various parts, to give it the effect of having ripped through it due to the fur surrounding his form. It was a gray suit, but he had hoped this thing wouldn't bind him to death with heat. It wouldn't be too long before he was shedding it though.

“Nice costume Aubrey.” Aubrey turned to smile at Rose as she began to pour her own glass of the Alcoholic Butterbeer. She was a tad shocked to see Rose take some, but it wasn’t like Aubrey was going to stop her. Who cared if they drank some alcohol that night? It wasn’t like they were going to go flying anytime soon right? Cause then they would get a FWI – flying while intoxicated. Actually, Aubrey wondered if such a thing really existed. “You look pretty good in your costume as well Rose! Though, I didn’t expect it to be so short,” she giggled lightly.
She then took a drink of her butterbeer just as she felt a hand snake around her waist.“I think I speak for most people but what is this ridiculous yet cute costume of yours meant to be?” Aubrey couldn’t help but giggle at Scorpius’s comment. Of course he wouldn’t know what she was dressed up as. She really didn’t expect many people to know actually. “Aww… thanks,” she said lightly as she kissed him softly on the cheek before sliding out of his arm and placing her butterbeer next to the keg. “I am Sailor Libra, champion of justice! On behalf of the Libra, I will right wrongs and triumph over evil, and that means you!” she said as she did the usual actions that Sailor moon would do and once she posed she then relaxed and let out a small giggle.
“It’s based off of a muggle manga, I can lend you one of the books sometime if you want to check it out sometime,” she said lightly as she picked up her glass of butterbeer and then grabbed an empty one and began to fill it with some of the butterbeer that she brought. “Here you go, have some butterbeer,” she said happily as she handed him the glass that she poured. She was glad that he decided to come to the Halloween party; she really missed hanging out with him.
( Just so you all know. Aubrey is not wearing her prefect badge. She has it tucked hidden away safely in her bag. So don't comment on her wearing a badge as she isn't. )

“ thanks, careful i might think you're a willing volunteer” Albus smirked at her joke and tilted his head as if teasing her. “you make a rather good pirate.” Al couldn’t help blush at her comment. Why was it that Theia seemed to make him blush a lot easier than usual these days? “Thanks,” he said shyly as he tilted his head back before taking a drink of his butterbeer. Perhaps the reason why he blushed around her more was the different comments she made than she usual did. Why did those change some? Did she even know why they did.
“and if i daresay it's not a very good likeness either,” Albus nodded in agreement. He totally agreed with her on how Demetrius didn’t pull his father off very well. “Definitely not. I could pull it off better, if I wanted to,” he rolled his eyes lightly before turning his back to Demetrius. He didn’t want to look any anyone that looked like his father. He just didn’t want to think about the father who he was constantly upset with at the moment.
“soooo… great party…” he heard Theia joked. She had a point, it wasn’t that exciting just yet, but then again he was pretty sure there were still many people down at the Halloween feast pigging out like there was no tomorrow. He was actually curious as to whether or not Dunstable would show up. It would make it a bit better to have another person to talk to as he noticed that Scorp had entered and made his way over to Aubrey. Sure he liked Aubrey and considered her a good friend, but he thought it was best at the time to let the two of them talk as he knew Scorp didn’t get to spend that much time with Aubrey as he used to before the champions were announced. However, he couldn’t help but chuckle at Aubrey’s little motto thing she did that was supposedly supposed to describe what she was.
Al was about to say something else to Theia when someone loud an annoying steeped through the doors. “I'm sorry, this isn't a party just yet, you didn't invite ME, awesome costume by the way, the voice sounded oddly familiar and annoying and frankly he had a feeling that he didn’t want anything to do with a person who was like that. “Conceited much…” he said lightly to Theia about the comment the annoying boy made. “So, who wants some fire whiskey? Not that you probably need anymore!?” Al rolled his eyes as he took a hold of Theia’s arm. “I think perhaps we should get away from that guy. He’s a bit too annoying for my taste,” he said lightly as he started to head in the other direction away from the annoying boy.

lyra had glanced away for a moment, but as she heard him approach she looked back to him and grinned lightly as she saw his costume. he looked great - quite realistic really - and the mask would be great for keeping his face hidden. getting in would be the difficult part - seeing as everyone would see you, but once you got in it would be alright - they could mingle and people would start getting too drunk to notice the fifth year in amongst them. but getting in.. yeah they'd have to be careful - even with his face hidden people would question why lyra would be with another guy going to a part coordinated... they'd have suspicions even with the mask. but she'd wave them off and tell them to leave him alone - they couldn't deny her.
"Let's go and crash this party," lyra rolled her grey eyes lightly and looked at him. "it's perfect." she said, grinning softly and turning to face him properly. "yep....it's time to gatecrash." she joked in return, going to lightly take his nearest hand and head for the door beside him. she pushed open the door lightly and made to head outside, glancing left and right before heading left toward the staircases. this was the annoyance of having their common room in the basement - it meant climbing up seven stairwells to the top floor, where the party was being held. which was even more annoying when the staircases kept moving - usually the day you were late to class.
once they were up on the seventh floor, lyra glanced toward will, pausing outside the wall of the room of requirement. " alright ready for your first taste of a proper party?" she grinned, half teasing - well the older years did always throw the best parties, buuut that was mostly because they managed to get a heck of a lot of good drink, food and they were all old enough not to care. she grinned at wll and then made to head into the room...
